The Hopkins RV Leveling Kit uses durable wood (not included) to support your RV during leveling. Plastic leveling blocks sink into soft surfaces and can bend easily when your heavy RV is on top of them. This can lead to the blocks cracking or even breaking, which can cause damage to your RV's wheels and axles. The ramps used in the Hopkins leveling kit attach to lumber to create thick, sturdy supports for your RV that won't bend or break.
The Hopkins RV leveling kit can be easily customized to fit your RV's wheels. This is because it uses 2x8 lumber (actual dimensions: 1-1/2" x 7-1/4") that you cut to size. For the best fit, place the wheel docks on either side of one of your RV's tires, so that your wheel sits between them. Measure from far edge to far edge of each dock and cut the lumber to that length. This board will become the top leveling block. If you have a tandem-axle setup, the board will need to be cut to accommodate both wheels.
After measuring and cutting the lumber, attach the wheel docks to each end of the board with the included screws. Unlike traditional leveling blocks, which typically don't have tire stops built in, the block that is made with the wheel docks keeps your tire from rolling forward or backward off of the leveler.
The length of the other 2 leveling blocks will be based on the length of the top leveler. To create the middle leveler, just cut the board to be 6-1/4" longer than the top piece. The bottom leveler will need to be 12-1/2" longer than the top board. Attach the treaded ramps on top of the boards on each end with the included screws.
The Hopkins RV leveling kit adds 1-1/2" of increased height for each leveling block you use, for a maximum of 4-1/2" of additional height. After assembling the levelers, set the top board (the shortest board) in front of the wheel on the side of the RV that you need to raise. Slowly drive your RV up the leveler and over the plastic wheel dock. Once the wheel is set in between the 2 docks, check to see if your RV is level with a bubble level or an electronic leveling device. If your RV is still too low on that side, reverse off of the leveling block and add the middle block. To do this, set the top leveling block between the 2 treaded ramps on the middle block, nesting it in place. Then drive back onto the levelers until your tire is between the wheel docks. Check your RV's level. Add the third block if necessary. Once your RV is level, secure the tire on the opposite side of your RV with the included wheel chock.

I will be using mine this weekend.
One of the sites I regularly use requires about 4"-5" of leveling on one side. This kit fit the bill perfectly. Used with 3 pieces of 2x8 so I can have a combination of 1.5", 3.0", or 4.5" leveling with each piece custom fit to my axles and wheels. Makes for easy and secure side to side leveling.
We bought this leveling kit after a nightmare experience at a very sloped campsite with the cheap plastic leveling blocks. This set is game changing! Sure, it takes up more space to haul and is heavier but it is completely worth it in our opinion. Very easy to use and we have had no issues with the blocks slipping like we did with our prior setup. Highly recommend!
This leveling arrived without any damage. It was simple to follow the instructions and mount the ramps on 2x6 boards of the proper lengths so each unit can be stacked with the other for compact transport. The design gives me flexibility to achieve leveling of my trailer side-to-side. Very pleased!
Another great product from etrailer! This has worked great for leveling my trailer at campsites!
work great, would definitely buy again!
Haven't had to use all three levels yet. But in the rain season I had no sinking of tire to throw off the level trailer. The provided chock saved the trailer several times in the mountains I hunt.
As soon as I received them I built them and put them right to work. They work fabulous we couldn't be happier.
I can see so much better with mirrors not only for towing but for backing up
Great product, we use it at home when the trailer is parked since the side of our driveway isn't level side-to-side and when camping in uneven sites.
Assembly was straightforward using a power drill/screwdriver, circular saw, and of course the 2X8's.

Great!
I used this Hopkins Leveling board kit throughout the summer and fall of 2021 to level up my truck camper. Being a resident camper in the upper great lakes region I can say you need these to level up every time you set up for the night! I used a 1" a 1 1/2" and 2" board for the 3 ramps to have some options when leveling up. These have been great!
Only used them once so far, at a campsite that wasn't quite level. Attached them to 2x6 lumber. Seems to work quite well. Seems more stable than what the individual stacking blocks would be. I store them in an underneath storage compartment on the camper. Instructions were good.
Amazing and exactly what we needed. Simplified our leveling system into one set of ramps. Easy for one person to level alone. Indefinitely reusable and environmentally friendly. Relieves a lot of stress and hassle.
Item was exactly as described and worked perfectly. Fast shipping and delivery. Excellent updates every step of the way. Will definitely order from etrailer.com again!
I purchased Hopkins Leveling Kit w/ Wheel Chock for Trailers and RVs. Instructions were easy to understand.
I'm excited about this product because I have a dual use planned for it; 1) as a leveling system for my tandem axle camping trailer and 2) as a pair of ramps to do oil changes or other work underneath my cars.
Great product! Makes leveling my camper a breeze. The only complaint i have is storing the leveling system.
Very heavy duty? Amazing products, makes leveling very simple, and straight forward. Interlocking blocks... Very happy!!
Very easy to use and heavy duty.
These things are awesome, I used them the for the first time this weekend. I have a 30ft. class c motorhome and it was simple, fast and I highly recommend them for any RV owner.
Once again etrailer comes thru with great products , customer service and fast shipping.
Very happy with this kit. Easy to assemble, use and works just like advertised. Cheaper than the dealer by far.

The product works great. Easy to assemble and use. Great product.
have not put it together yet but quality seems great and sales, communication and shipping by etrailer are outstanding.
Worked well. Used several times over past year. Recommend as many campgrounds are not totally level.
These are heavy when built with treated wood. Not what I needed for my popup.

I particularly like the clever design which allows the ramps, when mounted on boards according to the instructions stack together, saving storage space. I have found that the supplied mat does not do a good job of holding the ramp in place when in use, but I drilled a hole in each plastic piece so I could put a long rain gutter nail down through it and into the ground—worked much better
