Video Transcript for Detailed Breakdown of the Camco FasTen RV Leveling Blocks w/ Carrying Handle

Today, we're going to be taking a look at part CAM44525. These are the Camco FasTen RV leveling blocks. They do come with a carrying handle and towards the end of the video, we'll stack them and show you how easily they can be converted to be in a storage compartment, or how they transform for compact size and easy carrying or transportation. Now, these blocks are going to feature an interlocking, stack-able design. That way they can sit easily under the RV wheels for extra lift. One of the things I want to point out is that these are going to be called four-by-twos. We have four stack blocks going this direction, so this is one block.

You can see these raised areas here, four going this direction, two going this direction; so four-by-two. These are wide enough for those side-by-side wheels that some trailers or campers have. It would work perfect for those situations. You can position these beneath your jacks, your stabilizers and trailer wheels. Again, they do have the interlocking design so that's going to ensure that the blocks won't shift as you drive up on them, or once you're already on them. They're made from a polypropylene plastic, very strong and durable. You do not have to worry about these things caving in, or drooping, or curving, or breaking, or cracking.

They're very strong, and they're very durable. The product is made right here in the USA. With this part number, you're going to get this entire kit. You're going get 10 leveling blocks. Now, we're going to take a measurement of the blocks. They're all going to measure identical. Overall length, from edge to edge right here of the leveling block, we're looking at about seventeen inches. Then, the width of the leveling block, we're looking at about eight and a half inches.

Now, each block is going to measure an inch and a half thick, and then each block is going to provide one inch of lift. Now, when using this system, you want to make sure that you do not exceed a total height of four and a half inches. I've got them positioned in a very common way right here. What's neat about these is you can use these in any configuration that works for your application. You can add or remove, or redesign the stack design to best fit your needs. What I'm going to do right now is I'm going to move it to the stored position so that way you can see what that looks like. In order to do that, we just need to go ahead and get all of them stacked on top of one another.

Now, these are going to be dark gray in color. There is one block that's completely black. That's going to be the block that needs to go on the bottom of the stack. The reason being is because right here in the center, it's got a threaded hole, and it's going to come with this T-handle that comes with threads at the bottom of it. So this T-handle is going to go through the center of all the blocks, like this. What we can do is we can use this as a carrying handle. You thread that down until it gets tight, so you can use it as a carrying handle to transport the blocks. It's going to hold them all together, or, what you can do is you can push that down and now it's ready to be moved to compact storage in a storage compartment, or whatever area you want to store it in. Now with it fully stacked like that, it's going to give us an overall height measuring from bottom to top, it's going to be about ten and a half inches tall.
