Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a look at this Trimax non-coiled settable combination lock with bracket. Now this six foot long, half inch in diameter non-coiling cable lock is going to help safeguard your gear against theft. It's going to be great for your bikes, furniture, grills, and other outdoor gear. And the braided steel cable is flexible and is going to resist cutting. And this vinyl coating is gonna help keep the steel cable from scratching your bike or your gear that this is securing, while also protecting the cable itself from corrosion. Now, this does come with a quick release bracket that can attach to your bike frame and hold the cable when it's not in use.
And so, it looks like this comes with several different sizes of inserts to make sure that it has the best fit on your bike frame. And then, once you have this installed on your bike frame, then this is just going to slide in here, into that bracket and it's going to clip securely. And then, when you're ready to release this cable, when you're ready to use it, you just push this release button here and that's going to release it from this bracket. So, that's a nice addition with this particular cable. Now, this also has a four digit combination lock, and it's gonna be very easy to set, and it can be reprogrammed as needed.
So, this is going to come to you with the combination set at all zeros. So, right now it's off by a digit, so it stays locked. But, let me go ahead and set it, set it to all zeros, and of course, you see how easy that is to release once it is unlocked. And then, to set the combination to something, your own personal code, something that's easier for you to remember, you're just gonna turn this dial, it looks like you're gonna turn it clockwise. So, I'm gonna go ahead and I turned that, and I'm gonna go ahead and set this to something that's gonna be easy for me to remember.
One, two, three, four, very original there. And then, I'm gonna go ahead and then turn this counterclockwise, and that's going to lock in that new combination. And so, replace the pin and just turn it off by one digit. So, one, two, three, five. And so, that cable is now locked on that new combination.
change it back to one, two, three, four, and there we go. It is unlocked. So, very easy to use. And this, then you're not gonna have to worry about keys or anything like that. So, very easy to set and use. And, if you needed to change it on the fly while you're out on the trail, you can see that's gonna be very easy to do. Now, this does have a limited lifetime warranty. And, that's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..
