This axle strap creates a stronger and safer tie-down for your vehicle than attaching a tie-down strap (sold separately) to the bumpers or body. Loop the strap around your axle and fasten your tie-down strap to the D-rings. 10,000 lbs Max load.

Features:

  • Axle strap secures a car, ATV, or other vehicle to your trailer
    • Easy to feed under brake line and through tight spaces
  • D-rings connect to most tie-down straps (sold separately)
  • Durable polyester webbing is abrasion resistant
  • Protective sleeve prevents excessive wear on strap
  • Easy setup - wrap strap around axle and fasten tie-down strap to D-rings
  • Additional axle straps (sold separately) let you secure all of your vehicle's axles

Specs:

  • Strap dimensions: 2" wide x 24" long
  • Safe working load limit (WLL): 3,333 lbs
  • Maximum load (break strength): 10,000 lbs
  • Quantity: 1 axle strap
  • 1-Year warranty

Note: Tie-down straps and their accessories must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

What's up everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be checking out these etrailer axle straps. So they wrap around the axles of the vehicle you wanna haul, so you have tied on points to not damage the vehicle and get it there safely. Let's check it out. The importance of getting an axle strap is gonna be because you can't really tie down anything underneath your vehicle. So if you wanted to haul it on a flatbed trailer, sure you could hook it up to something but that'd be dangerous for your vehicle.

Something could break and it's just not reliable. Now with the axle straps, the axle, the strap wraps around the axle giving you an attachment point and also holds the vehicle down. 'Cause if you we're to run the straps on the top of vehicle, one, that could damage the paint or something like that, but also it's gonna move on the trailer as you're going down the road, which is gonna loosen those straps. This is gonna strap the axle down and keep everything in place. And a closer look at the axle straps.

They're gonna have a safe working low limit of 3,333 pounds and have a break strength of 10,000 pounds. So just keep that in mind with what kind of vehicle you wanna strap down. Something to keep in mind is if you are using ratchet straps that have a lower weight capacity than your axle straps, that's gonna change. You always wanna go with the lowest common denominator. So if the straps have the lower capacity that's actually your capacity, or if whatever you attach it to has even lower than that you wanna go by that.

Now we've moved up front to take a better look at the actual straps here. These are gonna come in a two pack. It's the setup we have today. So remember you're gonna need four of 'em to tie down a vehicle, but at least you can get two of the quantity two packs that have all four. The strap itself is gonna have a sleeve that goes over it.

So underneath is the same strap that we use for the ratchet strap. So it's gonna be that polyester webbing. So seatbelt like materials. You don't have to worry about it, rip, or tearing easily. But over that, it's gonna be a protective strap to not only protect the strap underneath, but your axle on your vehicle. You're gonna have the D-rings here up front. This is what you're gonna run our snap hook through today. These work really well there 'cause it's the thin hook and it's got the keeper so you know once it's on there. It's gonna stay attached. And this is a better attachment point than anything you can get underneath the vehicle. Overall, I think these axle straps work pretty well. I like knowing that I'm on a secure spot underneath the vehicle, that nothing's gonna get damaged. Plus, as I get two of 'em in the pack, I just need to get two packs and I'm covered to haul whatever vehicle I want. Well, I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out and hope this helped.
