This is my second Super Hitch and Tie Down for a Lance Camper. For just towing my motorcycle with The Lance 825, I didn't need the Super Hitch, but if I get a larger camper I will. With my previous truck and camper, I did need it. I was very pleased with that one, so I got this one. Hey Dan, you would need to install a Torklift SuperHitch part # TLD1111-30 on your 2024 Ram 3500 to allow you to be able to use a hitch extender that is 48 inches long like the # TLE1548. You really just need these two things unless you are also have a truck bed camper and need new rear tie downs as well? Using the Superhitch does change the fit of the rear tie downs.

The only other extension that will meet your 36" requirement is the Titan Hitch Box Extension for 2-1/2" Trailer Hitches, 41" - 48" Long # RP45018. This extension would have a maximum gross trailer weight of 7,500 lbs/750 lbs of tongue weight at 41" with weight distribution. Also, this does not have lateral-support safety chains like the TorkLift does.

Okay, so there's a lot to get to here, starting with the fact that since you need an extension, you will also need to add a TorkLift hitch and weight distribution system. The reason for that is, standard extenders don't have the capacity needed for you to tow, but you can do this if you add the TorkLift hitch and extenders.
