Quick-release levers make it fast and easy to secure your camper to your vehicle. Short turnbuckles extend from 14" to 21-1/2" for bed-mounted tie-downs. Long turnbuckles extend from 25" to 43" to fit frame-mounted tie-downs.

Standard turnbuckles have to be manually tightened, which can be a bit of a chore. TorkLift FastGun handles eliminate this difficult step. Just hook one end of each turnbuckle onto your camper and hook the other end onto the camper tie-downs that are mounted to your truck's bed. Then, to tighten the turnbuckles, flip the lever-action handles down - it's that simple. Sturdy pin locks are included to secure the handles in place, ensuring that your tie-down system remains tight and secure.
When you reach your campsite and you're ready to set up, just remove the pins (or locks), and flip the FastGun handles up to release the tension on the turnbuckles. With the tension released, you can quickly and easily remove the turnbuckles, activate your jacks, and set up your camper. This quick-disconnect feature is also great if one of the attached turnbuckles covers your truck's fuel tank door. No need to manually twist an older style turnbuckle and remove chains to disengage the entire system. Just pop the FastGun handle up, unhook the turnbuckle so you can move it out of the way, and fuel up.

Speaker 1: Today, we're going to be taking a look at the TorkLift Locking FastGun Turnbuckles. Now, these turnbuckles secure your camper to the tie-downs mounted on your truck at all four corners. The unit's going to come with two short range turnbuckles that secure the camper to bed-mounted tie-downs, and it comes with two long range turnbuckles to secure the camper to frame-mounted tie-downs. Now, these are lever-action handles that make the turnbuckles easy to operate. All you have to do is push down on the handle. Once the hooks are in place to tighten, pop up the handle to release the tension.
Now, this is a spring-loaded design so the spring-loaded design really helps reduce stress on the tie-down points. The unit does feature spring-tension indicators on both the drivers and passenger sides for simple set up.You'll notice that it has the round O-rings. These are only used as a gauge to set your spring tension, and you can adjust it as necessary. This kit is easily lockable with sturdy, secure pin locks. It does come with four keyed-alike locks, as well as all the necessary keys that you need.
I have two of them installed just to show you how they install. Now, they also come with these pins as well. These are what are typically used. Again, this kit does include the locks so that way you can lock everything up for security. When it comes to the construction, it's made from a high-impact stainless steel construction.
It's very durable and rust proof. Features a really nice, well done, gray powder coated finish. Product's made in the USA. It's also going to come with some quick connect connection points there as well, four of those. Now, the short range turnbuckles, again these are designed for bed-mounted tie-downs for truck campers. They have a reach of 14" to 21-1/2".
The long range turnbuckles are designed for frame-mounted tie-downs for truck campers. They have a 25" to 43" reach. This product's covered with a lifetime warranty. When setting up the system for the first time, you want to do so according to the included instructions. The instructions walk you through the entire process step-by-step to get it set up for your application. Now, once you have the unit set up for your application, using the system is super easy. All you have to do is hook one end of each turnbuckle onto your camper and hook the other end to the tie-down. Again to tighten, all you have to do is flip the lever action handles down to apply tension. Then to release tension, flip the handles up.That's all there is to it. It's going to be set up for your application after the initial set up again according to the instructions. Now, one of the other neat features about the quick-disconnect design is it's great if one of the attached turnbuckles covers your truck's fuel tank door. Getting to the fuel tank door, if you've ever had a cover up issue in the past has been pretty difficult and time consuming. With this system, all you have to do is flip the handle up, unhook the turnbuckle, move it out of the way, and you're ready to fuel up. Then once you're done fueling up, put the hooks back in place, flip the handle down, and you're set and ready to get back on the road. That's going to do it for today's look at the Torklift Locking FastGun Turnbuckles.
