These rear tie-downs mount directly to your truck’s frame, giving your camper a solid foundation that keeps it stable and level on long trips. By distributing weight evenly and lowering the center of gravity, they help your truck maintain its normal handling even with a camper loaded. That means less sway and better control in crosswinds or on uneven roads.
The custom-fit brackets use pre-existing holes in the frame, so there’s little to no drilling needed. The bolt-on design keeps installation straightforward and preserves the strength of your truck’s frame—no cutting or modifications required. Once installed, the tie-downs sit tight to the frame for minimal loss of ground clearance.
Each set is made from black powder coated steel for strength and corrosion resistance. This durable finish stands up to weather, road grime, and long hauls without rusting or weakening. The heavy-duty build gives you confidence that your camper will stay secure in rough conditions.
When you’re not hauling a camper, you can remove the tie-down arms and leave the brackets mounted under the truck. They tuck up neatly against the frame so they’re barely visible. You keep a clean factory appearance without losing the convenience of a permanent mounting system.

Each arm includes two pin holes so you can extend them just far enough to clear sidewalls and fenders. That adjustability helps you achieve the best angle for your turnbuckles (sold separately) while keeping tension balanced from multiple directions. The result is a snug, secure hold that keeps your camper exactly where it should be.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at these TorkLift, custom frame mounted rear camper tie downs. Now these tie downs are gonna give you attachment points at the rear of the bed of your truck for securing a bed mounted camper. Turn buckles are required to attach your camper to these tie downs. And of course, those turn buckles are sold separately, but you can find 'em here at etrailer.com.
Now these have been designed to fit your 2019 to 2020 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500, both with the eight foot bed without a board, or step underneath the truck bed. And with a factory installed hitch on custom fit parts, such as these tie downs, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. Just input the year, make, and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will confirm if these will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. If you're also looking for the front camper tie downs, you'll just go through the same process through our fit guide. I do wanna point out that these are not going to be compatible with trucks with plastic bedliners, just so you're aware of that upfront.
So the frame mounted design is going to ensure excellent handling because securing your camper to the base of your truck, instead of its bed, is going to better distribute weight to keep your setup from being too top heavy. These brackets are going to fit tight to the truck's frame, so there's not gonna be any loss of ground clearance. They will use preexisting holes in the frame. So there's gonna be the little to no drilling required to install these. And these steel tie down inserts are going to secure to these durable steel receiver brackets.
And the inserts can be easily removed from these frame mounted brackets with the included bale pins here that I have right here. And so when you remove these, it's gonna make these tie downs virtually undetectable when they're not in use. So let me just give you a brief demonstration of how easy this is going to be to remove. So I went ahead and removed our pin and then removed the insert. And so you can then just take these inserts and put 'em in the back of the cab of your truck when they're not in use.
So as you can see, you're really not gonna be able to see anything once you have those inserts removed. And if you notice here we have two holes here in these inserts. So if your camper is a little bit wider, you would use the first hole here on the insert to have the tie down point stick out a little bit farther. If your camper is a little bit narrower, you can move it into that second hole, which that's what the hole that I'm using here just to make sure this is all gonna fit on my table. So I'm gonna slide this back into place and match up my holes there and then just replace the pin and just secure it, just like that. And then that insert is going to be secure in that bracket. So these do feature a high impact powder coat finish. It's going to give you an extra layer of protection to the brackets and to the inserts. You're gonna receive everything that you see here on my table. And as you can see, I do kind of have these loosely put together where most of the hardware is going to go, just to kind of give you an idea of what this is going to look like. Instructions are also included to guide you through the installation process. These do have a lifetime warranty from TorkLift. And I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

These tie downs are sill working as advertised. I have travelled over 20,000 mi with them in various conditions with about 10 of that time in dirt roads or 4wd roads. Nothing too crazy, but with my camper and these tied downs I am confident that the camper will remain attached and be secure. It hardly moves around at all. They are worth the money and I can still remember how easily they installedvery welll thought out design and installation!

Product is working great , what is fantastic is the engineering for the fit to the vehicle and the tools they give you to fish and hold bolts where they need to be during installation. Great thought process for instruction for installation.

They are starting to rust significantly. That is very disappoint considering the very high cost of these. It is interesting that they dont allow pictures of the product for this update.

Thank you for your photo. Torklift does recommend to use the hitch adapter for the 2020 Ford F-250. The adapter does need to be turn horizontally to fit inside the hitch not vertically.

Bought these tie-downs a year ago and they have proven to be easy to use, very sturdy, and hold my Palomino to the truck bed tightly.
Condition: Surface Scratches
Notes: There are scrapes and scuff marks on the product.
