When you’re hauling a camper for thousands of miles, stability makes all the difference. These custom-fit tie-downs mount directly to your truck’s frame—the strongest part of the vehicle—so the camper weight is distributed evenly and the center of gravity stays low. That means less sway in crosswinds and a steadier ride that feels just like driving without a camper.

These tie-downs bolt onto existing holes in the frame, so there’s little to no drilling or modification needed. The brackets fit tight to the frame for minimal loss of ground clearance, keeping them tucked up and out of the way. The setup includes front and rear tie-downs with installation hardware, designed for a straightforward bolt-on install that keeps your truck’s structure intact.
Once your camping trip is done, pull the arms off the brackets and they’re almost invisible under the truck. The frame-mounted design hides neatly out of sight, preserving your truck’s clean lines. When it’s time to load up again, just reattach the arms and go—no bulky hardware hanging below or spoiling the look.

Built from steel with a high-impact powder coat finish, these tie-downs are made to handle heavy campers and rough roads. The durable coating adds an extra layer of protection against chips and corrosion, so they hold up season after season. You can trust them to stay strong and secure through rain, dirt, and long miles.
Each arm includes two pin holes so you can set how far it extends from the body for better clearance around fenders or sidewalls. Two anchor holes on the plate let you fine-tune the angle of your turnbuckles (sold separately) for a snug, balanced connection that keeps your camper locked in place from multiple directions.

Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the TorkLift custom frame mounted camper tie-downs for the rear of the vehicle. This product fits many vehicles so to ensure that this is a fit for your vehicle, you can use the vehicle fit guide located at etrailer.com. These tie-downs provide attachment points at the rear of your truck bed for securing a bed mounted camper. Front tie-downs are sold separately and available at etrailer.com. The frame mounted design ensures excellent handling, so securing the camper to the truck's frame instead of its bed better distributes weight, which keeps the setup from being too top heavy. When they are not being used, the system is virtually undetectable. All you have to do when they're not being used is you can actually remove the arms and get them out of the way.
Now, I also want to point out that these arms have two pin holes in them so that way you can adjust it to whatever one fits best for your application. Once you have this setting achieved, you simply slide through the included pin and secure its clip on the other side. The tie-down inserts again can be easily removed from the frame mounted receiver brackets when they are not being used. The other thing I want to point out is that these brackets are custom fit for your vehicle. So these brackets are designed to fit tight to the truck frame. That way there's not a loss of ground clearance.
They're made from a nice, durable steel construction and they feature a black powder-coated finish on them, so they're going to do a great job at resisting rust and corrosion. It does come with your tie-down inserts, the custom frame brackets and the pins and clips. You will use your existing hardware on the vehicle frame. It also comes with a set of detailed installation instructions to help walk you through that whole process step-by-step. This product is made in the USA and covered with a lifetime warranty. That's going to do it for today's look at the TorkLift custom frame mounted camper tie-downs for the rear of the vehicle..

It definitely is safe the way you have them, Paul! In a perfect world, the turn buckles would be perfect vertical, but this an imperfect world and not all campers have the attachment points in the same place. If you take a look at some of the installed pictures on the TorkLift Locking FastGun Turnbuckles # TLS9529-2-LK page, you can see most of them are at an angle. It's perfectly normal. Are you running any suspension enhancement on your Silverado?

Install looks great, Megan! Especially for it only taking two hours! They were moving. : ) Happy we confirmed what you found as well. Tie downs can be a pain in the rear with all the options out there. Now I do have to ask though, have you guys thought about any kind of suspension enhancement for the rear axle? It's a little hard to tell, but it looks like the back is sagging a bit in your last picture.

A year later and I would not do anything different. Absolutely the best system available especially paired with the fast guns. The camper is solid mounted and does not move. Yet can still be off loaded in just a few minutes. Remember good stuff isn’t cheap and cheap stuff isn’t good.
