This is an incredibly well engineered and excellently manufactured high quality roof rack system. I installed 4 Cap Top Mounting Points for roof rack system. Installation was a breeze and I accomplished very precisely. Just take your time, don't rush, read the instructions as many times as necessary until you fully understand them. These went on an A.R.E. cap top on my Chevy Colorado so that I can take my canoe with me when I tow my Winnebago RV. With just two cam-lock nylon tie down straps the canoe was secured to the cross-bars sturdy enough to hit the road. Of course I secured a couple of 1/4" bow and stern lines for extra precaution. Rock solid! Just waiting for Fitting kit to install two more cross bars on the the crew cab too.

I purchased a used gray topper for my Tundra, repainted it to match my truck, and purchased from you the mounts and rails to put on top of it. The entire project was GREAT, and the and rails have just topped it off (see what I did there?) with a great look and very functional utility to add some long storage capability to a very short-bed truck. Thank you so much, it was expensive, but the quality is fantastic and the look is very sharp!

The weight rating they give is normally based on the capacity of the roof of the vehicle they are going on because the crossbars can handle over 300 lbs.
