Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our CURT bolt-on tow hook with keeper at a 10,000 pound rating. So folks, this tow hook provides a nice attachment point on your vehicle. Keep in mind, I've got these bolts loose here, but this would be solid here, and locked in place. And then you can simply spring load, clip that onto whatever you need to clip on, what you're pulling, and all that kind of stuff, and that safety keeper prevents the strap or chain from coming back off the hook.

It's a nice strong forged steel construction with a nice black powder coat finish. It's a bolt-on installation to your vehicle's frame with the included hardware, so you may have to do some drilling, depending on where you're mounted and how. The bolts are a half inch thick. And, as far as some dimensions, this is about five and three eighths inch overall, and about three quarter inches thick. Again, rated at 10,000 pound capacity, this is the CURT bolt-on tow hook with keeper.

These seem to be very heavy duty...I am going to install on each corner of my ice fishhouse with skids so I can use w a tow strap to pull it.

Tow hooks are working great...just what I wanted!

Tow hooks bolt right on to my stock Jeep bumper replacing the small original hooks with no keeper. Vince was very helpful in obtaining additional information on the bolt spacing!

I used a pair of these on the front of my Jeep TJ. They fit perfectly with the bumper bolt hole spacing- no need for any extra figiting.

I don't plan on breaking down or getting stuck, but if I do, I'll already be frustrated enough without adding a creased bumper to the truck or getting covered in mud and rocks, or snow and rain. This will make it substantially quicker and easier to get pulled back on the road, or to my driveway. It'll also make it more likely for me to pull someone else out since I won't have to get down in the rocks and dirt, struggle to get the strap attached to my frame, then later struggle to get it off.
