Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Brophy Basic Turnbuckle for Camper Tie-Downs. Now, this turnbuckle is designed to securely connect your trailer camper to the tie-downs mounted on your pickup. It's made to work perfectly with the Brophy bed-mounted tie-down systems that you see there on your screen. So, it's a reliable fit if you're already using any of those models.
Now, the turnbuckle itself is built from sturdy steel and finished with the corrosion-resistant zinc plating, which means it's going to hold up well to the elements and it's going to give you long-lasting durability. In terms of size, when we have this fully retracted as I do now, see if I can give you those measurements there as best as I can. Measuring center of hook to center of hook, we're sitting pretty close to 7 3/4 inches when retracted, and then 12 inches when it's fully extended. So, that's going to give you the range that you're going to need to get a tight, secure connection between your camper and truck. And overall, this is gonna be a simple, strong, and dependable component that's gonna help keep your camper stable and safely anchored while you're going down the road.

I bought just the turnbuckles to hold down a truck camper because I didn't need the chains and s hooks that are part ot the tie down package. The price is better than the local hardware store and the item is exactly as advertised. The company sent me emails and tracking information and the package was shipped quickly.
I seldom write reviews, but the service and product were great.
Turnbuckles were only 3/8 inch and I will be looking for something more robust. They do not inspire confidence that they will hold even a small camper to the bed. These were for replacement of an older set that were showing signs of age. I feel the older ones are still better than these.
The turn buckles are of good quality. Better quality and price than local hardware stores. Very slow shipping however.
Product looks good , was received within 4 days of ordering.
Got an email after ordering showing my order had been placed , etrailer does not send any shipping info emails to show you that the product has been shipped. That's why I gave them 4 stars.
As far as I know they appear to be as advertised.
My complaint is, that I did not receive a tracking number, in order to follow the progress of my order.
These are very nice, heavy duty turn bu ckles.
A decent cast and plated turnbuckle at a fair price.
a length of chain lengths would have been nice with this order - my RV tech had to make a special trip to a hardware store for the chain links
Just what I was looking for my slide in camper. They are much stronger than the ones you buy in the local hardware store. They were shipped the next day after ordering.
