Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Furrion USB-A to USB-C power cable. Now this replacement power cable is made specifically for your Furrion Vision S+ camera system monitor. As you see, it has a USB-A connector on one end and then this USB-C connector on the other. So it's gonna be very easy to power the monitor from a compatible USB port.
I do have this bundled up here just to keep it manageable here on my table, but this is gonna be about five feet long, so it should give you enough length to comfortably route the cable where you need it. And since this is an OEM Furrion part, this is designed to fit and work just like the original cable. So if your existing power cable has been lost or damaged, this is gonna be a simple plug and play replacement that requires no modifications, no wiring, anything like that. The right fit for our Furrion 7S camera monitor. Not flimsy or cheap, great quality. For some reason the original cord end broke off. We needed a replacement that wasn’t overpriced. This was it. Purchased 2 of them.

Purchased to power my Furrion trailer back-up camera. Cable works as advertised. My new truck does not have a cigarette lighter but does have a USB and USB-C outlet. USB and USB-C cables I had laying around the house would not provide enough power to run the unit. This one works great.

This cable does not power my Furrion Vision S* monitor. It produces a signal/power momentarily then cuts off. It’s like it’s not the correct voltage.

- Can I Use the USB-A to USB-C Power Cable Instead of the 12V Cigarette Power Adapter Cable? Hi Ben, You can use either the Furrion 12V cigarette lighter to 5V USB-C cable part # FR54AF or the Furrion USB-A to USB-C cable part # FR34AF to power the Furrion S+ camera system monitor. The 12V cable is more reliable than the USB-A to USB-C cable though because it provides exactly 12V to the monitor which is converted to 5V USB-C that the monitor needs. Standard USB ports or USB-A ports are often low amperage, so you'll need to make sure the USB/USB-A port puts out at least 5V or...

Sorry to hear you're having issues Ricky. Are you powering the monitor directly from a USB A port? A lot of these ports do not have enough output to keep the monitor powered. Were you experiencing any issues with the monitor before switching out the cords?
