These extra long heavy duty tie down straps are great for loads that you don't want to have too much flexibility in your cord. They have limited stretchiness, and remain taut, which is great for heavy loads in your truck, trailer, or cargo basket. There are S-hooks on each end, which are held in place with the rubber grommet.They measure 40-1/2 inches, from rubber end to rubber end, and 45 inches from the end of each S-hook. It's made of a durable EPDM synthetic rubber, that stretches to a maximum length of 56 inches. Its thickness is designed for heavy duty applications.
The S-shape hooks are great for various types of tie down points. Bungee cord i( all rubber) s in the elements 24/7/365 holding down the top of a patio container. Still in good shape. Other bungees deteriorated after a year or two
For you musicians out there, you'll understand what I'm referring to. Pictured is a power amp sitting on top of a bass speaker cabinet. Both have smooth surfaces. At a fairly high volume, those low bass frequencies.create quite a bit of vibration. Due to the vibration, that bass power amp tends to want to "walk" eventually to the point of falling off of the cabinet, that is if I don't catch it in time. The fastest and easiest way of securing the power amp to the cabinet is with this strap. The strap is performing just as I had hoped.
There, another new use for a tie down strap!
FYI -- I attempted to purchase a tie down strap locally at this length but the three hardware stores I visited only offered them in shorter lengths. They did not offer them in the 41 inch length your company has available. Their loss was your gain.
I needed a couple of these straps longer than the standard 36" straps sold at hardware stores. ETrailer had the straps in stock, shipped immediately, and sent excellent email communication regarding my order.

Well made tie down straps at a reasonable price - impossible to find at local stores in the 41" length. Had them in my hands 3 days after ordering (paid for 3-day shipping).

Made in USA! I have never found an imported rubber strap that lasts! Erickson straps do!
The product was as advertized and competitively priced. Communication was excellent and it shipped out promptly. The reason for four stars is that it was shipped USPS and as we all know their tracking system is worthless and it was delivered a day later than promised through no fault of the vendor.

Interesting use of a bungee. That is a Peavey bass amp and looks to be one of their cabs. Another hometown St. Louis Area company. Rock on!
