Today, we're gonna be taking a look at Flint Hill Goods line of bug deflectors. Bug deflectors from Flint Hill Goods are gonna be custom fit for your vehicle. So you wanna make sure that you're using our fit guide so you can get the appropriate one for your vehicle. We're showing it off on our Chevy Silverado here today, and you can see how it curves to the body moldings. It goes right up over top. That gives us a nice, consistent gap all the way across which will prevent any kind of fluttering noises from driving down the road.
It'll prevent contact from our bug deflector if it we're to hit any kind of bugs or any kind of road debris. It does have a little tiny bit of flex in it, but at no point, does it ever, when I'm pushing on it, does it ever really feel like it's gonna come in contact with the hood. So it is going to be a scratch-resistant, high-durability acrylic that it's constructed of. And it does have a little bit of flex in it which is gonna be useful to prevent it from cracking when it does receive an impact from anything out there on the road. It does come in a smoked finish, like you see here.
So if you like the way that that looks, that'll also help prevent UV rays from fading the area here towards the front. And whenever you have any kind of chips and things like that, the sun's only gonna worsen corrosion. So this will just help keep that sun off and prevent any chips and abrasions from occurring here at the front. It was not designed for my 2016 f250.
Unfortunately the item did not fit or look correct. It was misshapen, perhaps during design or transport. But either way it didn't work. As far as shipping speed,it arrived on time. And cost of item and the shipping fees were good. But product not so good. Customer service was more then happy to help. And I m getting a refund. So that is excellent service on their part. So overall it is an average experience
I’ve had a bug deflector on every truck I’ve owned since they were a flat piece of plastic and I’ve never had one fit so poorly. The screw tabs will align to the holes in the hood however the deflector hits the edge if the hood and the tabs are still an inch away from seating on the screw insert. The hood will not shut without force. I purchased the deflector as it is the only one I could find that does not wrap around the fender which I don’t like. At this price point I guess you expect some issues however have a high regard for etrailer and would expect the parts to be vetted before being put on their site. The installation was a 2015 Silverado 2500.
Nice looking product once I cleaned all the dust off of it. Good packaging and no damage to the package. The product did not come with any mounting hardware or installation instructions. That is pretty disapointing! Was going to order another one for a spare as they can get damaged when going thru an automatic car wash. They are hard to find but since no mounting hardware was included I think will not do so. Good thing I am hands on and figured out how to mount it. Hope this one lasts as long as the previous one did.

It took me a minute. But after reading your instructions and online video it seemed to make more sense.Very easy to install and looks good.
Replacement for a damaged deflector. Came wrapped in foam sheets and packing tape. My hat is off to the delivery carrier, arrived unblemished. The mounting hardware was too small to fasten into the existing holes in the hood. Should be a good fit after acquiring larger fasteners to install.
