Ellen : Hey, everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and today we're taking a look at the Taylor made United States Marine Corps boat flag. Show your love for the Corps by flying your flag high on your boat or really anywhere you want to fly it. It's made of 100% nylon material, so it will have our design on either side of that flag. There's no pretty side or bad side, although this one is reversed if we turn it over. Looks just as good either way.
The thing that I like about this is that it is a nice heavy duty fabric. Again, 100% nylon. The stitching is reinforced here around the gussets so we don't have to worry about this fraying at the attachment point and pretty reinforced around the hems as well.Although it's important to note that although this is designed to be outside in the wind, it's best to take this down whenever you're encountering any high winds or any storms coming along since high winds and water can tend to fray this over time. If you're encountering any inclement weather, it's best to take it down to increase the longevity of your flag. Also, if it does start to get a little dirty, you can wash this with a mild soap or detergent.
You just want to keep it away from any kind of petroleum products. Something keep in mind there. Nice color. I I think the hems are really nice. Should hang well off of your flag pole.
There's a couple different options as far as poles you can get [email protected]. There's a teak pole or metal ones that look something like this that you would clip on to those grommets and then you can fly your flag. All these accessories are sold separately. Here at etrailer.com, you can pick up any of them to accompany your flag. These you just kind of have to pull out on that hook a little bit to get that attached and then should fly nicely. Now, as far as measurements with this, remove it here and we'll go over those.
It's about 18 inches long, really more like 18 and three quarters from end to end. Our actual emblem is more like 17 and a quarter. To the center of our grommets, it's about 17 and a half, so little bit smaller, and then width is going to be about 11 and three quarters inches. The distance between those two grommets is about nine and a half inches, and each one of those has a inner diameter of about three-eighths of an inch. Last thing I want to note with this is that it is made in the USA. That's going to do it for our look at the Taylor made United States Marine Corps boat flag.
