Water pooling at your feet means the drain isn't keeping up, turning a quick rinse into a plumbing problem. The Whale Gulper 220 moves graywater, hair, and gels through a filter-free design for consistent 24V drainage.
Hair, soaps, and shower gels can slow a drain fast. The Gulper 220 uses a large single diaphragm and non-choke electric valve technology to move graywater without a filter screen. It is suitable for shower trays, galley sinks, and small bilge applications where water volumes are limited.
A multi-directional head rotates 360° to simplify hose routing in tight lockers. Large 3/4-inch inlet and outlet ports are cut at 45° angles to help reduce restriction. Rubber mounting feet absorb vibration during operation. The pump may be mounted horizontally or vertically, but when mounted vertically the pump head must be positioned lowest. Install in a dry location away from direct water exposure. Designed for 24V DC systems using a 2.5-amp fuse installed on the positive supply lead.
Shower drains don't see steady, perfect flow. They see bursts of water, air in the line, and the occasional dry run between cycles. The Gulper 220 self-primes up to 10 feet for flexible mounting above the drain line. A double outlet valve design helps maintain flow, even when running dry or moving a mixture of air and water. It can be operated using a remote on/off switch or integrated with a float switch, with an isolator switch recommended for float installations. Internal components are accessible for service, and replacement valve and diaphragm kits are available (Whale service kit AK1550, not included).

Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Whale Gulper 220 and it's a graywater pump running on 24 volts. So folks, this pump is gonna be great. It's gonna pump shower waste including hair and gels. Virtually, you're gonna have unblockable valves with this. So it has really nice large 3/4-inch inlets all the way up to a 1-inch inlet on the outboard depending on what your connection can take and everything.
So very, very nice large size, it's reliable. It has a self-priming up to 10-foot pump and it has a double outlet valve and that's gonna ensure continuous flow and it will run dry without damaging the pump between mixture of air and water. So you don't have to worry about that. And it's a multi-directional head for ease of installation and it uses low power consumption and no filters or cleaner anything like that. How cool is that So it's gonna make it easier as far as maintenance and those kind of things.
As far as size, I got about 10 3/4 inches long overall by about 6 3/16 inches wide at the widest part and about 4 5/8 inches tall. Again, the inlet is 19 millimeters or 3/4 inches. And the outlet with the barb connection, you have an option to go all the way up to a 1 inch or use the 3/4 inch as well. Again, maximum suction, 10 foot; maximum discharge, 10 foot. The flow rate per minute on this bad boy is 3 1/2 gallons.
You're gonna get the mounting screws for the base and you're gonna get the inline fuse as well. So folks, that is gonna wrap it up for our quick look at the Whale Gulper for 220 graywater pump. I'm Steve and thanks for watching.
