Evie Angeline: Hi, it's Evie Angeline from etrailer.com and today we are looking at our Thule tram ski and snowboard adaptor for hitch mounted bike racks here on our 2020 Honda CRV. This is a great thing to have, especially if you have a bike rack or you do not have a roof rack, and you still want an opportunity to carry your skis and your snowboards without a roof rack. So what we have here are one set of skis and a snowboard. This fits up to six sets of skis or four snowboards so we have a good amount of bar space. This is on a Thule hitching post pro hanging style bike rack, but it can also fit on other bike racks. You can see how it's attached to the cradles here.

Today on our 2013 Honda CRV well be test fitting the Yakima Fatcat 6 Locking Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Carrier, part number y03088. Now to begin our test fit, well take the front carrier, place it over the top of our front crossbar and bring the rubber-coated steel straps around underneath the crossbar and latch them back to the carrier attachment point. Once theyre locked in place on either side, we can then open up the carrier, tighten down the wing nut and clamp it into place. With that our carrier on the front crossbar is now secured. Well now place the rear carrier on top of the rear crossbar and repeating the same procedure clamp it down and then make sure its secured to the rear crossbar. Now with both carriers in place, we can go ahead and load our skis and snowboards.

Today on our 2013 Honda CRV were going to be test fitting the Whispbar Locking Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Carrier, part number wb-300. To begin our test fit, well take our front carrier and place it on our front crossbar. We can go ahead and bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the crossbar, latch them into position, and then lock them in place. We can then open our carrier and tighten it down to our front crossbar by tightening the wing nut located inside. Once we have our front carrier secured to our front crossbar, we can then close the carrier and repeat the same process for the rear. We need to make sure that our rear carrier is lined up with our front carrier.

Today, on our 2011 Honda CRV we'll be test fitting the Wispbar, Locking Rear Top Skis and Snowboard carrier, with a six-ski or four-board capacity, part number WB-300. Now our vehicle is already equipped with a rear track system, so we'll begin our test fit by placing the front part of the carrier onto the front crossbar. We'll open up the jaws of the carrier and bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the underside of the front crossbar. We'll then hook them back into the top bracket of the carrier. Now, with our jaws open, exposing the black levers, we'll tighten the levering, clamping in position. We'll then repeat these steps for the other bracket on the other side of the carrier. We'll then set our rear part of the carrier onto the rear crossbar, and again, open up the jaws, bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the underside of the vehicle and hook them back into the top bracket.

Today on our 2011 Honda CRV, we will be test fitting the Yakima Fatcat 6 locking rooftop ski and snowboard carrier with a 6 ski or 4 board capacity, part number Y03088. Now, our vehicle is already equipped with a roof rack system, so we'll begin the test fit by placing the front part of the carrier onto the front crossbar. We'll bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the under side of the crossbar and hook them back into the top rack of the carrier. Before doing this, you'll need to open up the jaws of the carrier to expose the black levers. Then, repeat these steps for the other side of the vehicle. Now, we'll place the rear end of the carrier, and again, open up the jaws to expose the black levers. Bring the rubber coated steel straps around the under side of the carrier and hook them back into the top rack of the carrier. Tighten the black levers and then clamp them down. With the Yakima Fatcat secured to our Honda CRV, we're ready to load up some gear.
