RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables - 6,000 lbs
Well, this is my 3rd review. These safety cables were part of my flat tow kit, all bought through etrailer. As I have said before, etrailer provides video installation guides that save you on Installations. Also their staff can help too. I have bought other items in the past and each self installation has saved a considerable sum of money overtime. You can't go wrong with etrailer
Replacement coiled safety cables. Excelent

Roadmaster 64" Single Hook, Straight Safety Cables - 8,000 lbs
What design criteria did you use for these safety cables purposely built for tow bar applications. The length should've been based on the tow bar sliding tube being fully extended. the 64 inch safety cables are too long for the Nighthawk 10,000lb off-road I'm using--by about 10-11 inches. So, I have to "loop" the excess and tie it with a small plastic tie. I've flat towed about 13,000 miles at this point and on our last trip, one of my plastic ties broke and one of my safety cables was scraping the road and was damaged. I need cables that are 54 inches and will hang well above the ground with just a little slack.
Fits well inside the legs of the Road Master Falcon All Terrain tow bar.

RoadMaster 76" Single Hook, Straight Safety Cables - 8,000 lbs
Tow cables are as described fitting my toe bar. I prefer the straight cables versus the coiled ones thus am quite happy with your product
Good as expected. Originally had 64" but had to get 76" due to using a drop hitch with the Roadmaster tow bar.

Curt Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables with S-Hooks - 42" Long - 7,500 lbs - Qty 2
Very easy to install very straightforward and solid. Only thing I suggest is Lock tight just gotta get the wiring in now and take a trip. Thanks Sara etrailer.
I have been using "Coil Cables" for over 30 years. I always tell people about them and suggest over any chain set out there. The coil keeps the cables from dragging the ground and getting chewed up by the road. I suggest the use of 1/2 inch, Grade 8 hardware to attach to your trailer. If you do not have Grade 8 hardware then jump into your car and go get some. Nothing less is sufficient for the task. Do not sell yourself short on attachments. Remember this rule: Your wife and children may be coming from the other direction. Make sure you are safe. etrailer, my thoughts about this company are simple. Great people and great products. In the past I have contacted the Customer Service group twice. Yes only twice in 10+ years of business. My questions and issues were solved fast and we were all happy. Blue Ox 7' Safety Cables - 10,000 lbs - Qty 2
Cables have been fantastic and functioned as expected. Still in use today and we've traveled over 18,000 miles.
These cables were just what I needed. The original cables that come with the Blue Ox Ascent tow bar won't work with a Rock Hard 4x4 bumper clevis. Shipping was superfast the second time around using UPS. The USPS lost the first package; and after a 15-day delay was reshipped and received in 3 days. GREAT job

Roadmaster EZ Hook Safety Cables with Anchors - 64" Long - 8,000 lbs - Qty 2
My tow vehicle went on fire on July 4. If I did NOT have these safety cables, I would not have been able to disconnect my motorhome before it, too, caught fire. I will never tow with the other cables.
Like my original purchases. Great service from eTrailer. Kept track of every step and arrived I. Less time than originally told.

Curt Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables with S-Hooks - 42" Long - 5,000 lbs - Qty 2
Love these cables. First, using coiled cables avoids adjusting chains so they don't drag on the highway. Second, the S hooks are MUCH easier to attach and remove from the hitch on my RAV4. Previously had coiled cables with clevis hooks. They convinced me to stick with coiled cables, but the heavier hooks were harder to manage on my RAV4.
These are my favorite style of safety connections. I prefer these over most safety cables and chains. I would definitely purchase again!

Roadmaster EZ Hook Safety Cables - 76" Long - 8,000 lbs - Qty 2
Had to order a longer set of cables since I use a drop receiver. Ordering was easy and shipping was fast .I won't buy anywhere else but etrailer they are great.
The exact item I ordered, should help make hook up and disconnect a simple process.

Roadmaster EZ Hook Safety Cables - 64" Long - 8,000 lbs - Qty 2
Easy to install and work like they're supposed to. I bought my Roadmaster Sterling secondhand and the cables that came with it were just a bit too long for my setup, and they dragged on the ground enough to get pretty torn up. These are the perfect length to allow for movement, but not so long that they drag.
etrailer had the items I needed and I received them in plenty of time before I left for a trip. I really appreciate the fast response.

Curt Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables with S-Hooks - 42" Long - 3,500 lbs - Qty 2
A huge upgrade over chains, these are an awesome budget friendly upgrade. They don't drag the ground and you can fish your wiring through them so that doesn't drag the ground either.
I'm very disappointed in these cables. I've used them in the past and they worked great, however they're changed them. Now the manufacturer has installed a spring clip on the hooks to keep them from falling off of the tow vehicle. The problem is that they didn't increase the size of the hooks and the 'safety' clip actually pushes the hook off of the tow vehicle's hitch. My vehicle has a pretty standard design of frame hitch, nothing odd or anything like that. The manufacturer just didn't bother to try these things out before going into production. I've got the other ends of the cables welded to my trailer, meaning that I'll have to cut them off and weld on something else, then patch the paint on the trailer, etc. What a nuisance! I would NOT RECOMMEND buying these cables, or at least test them on your particular hitch before permanently installing them.

Roadmaster EZ Hook Safety Cables - 68" Long - 8,000 lbs - Qty 2
Shipped on time, received on time, exactly what I ordered, and follow up from etrailer was first rate. My go-to for anything in towing or trailering.
Great product and fast shipping. Needed longer cables than provided with the tow bar due to the addition of a drop hitch. These are perfect. etrailer's web page was easy to navigate and find exactly what I needed.

Roadmaster 80" Hybrid Coiled-to-Straight Safety Cables - Double Hook - 8,000 lbs - Qty 2
Not exactly the same as what came with the nighthawk.
What can I say? These cables were purchased as replacements. The came quickly and worked as expected.

Blue Ox 3' Permanent Base Plate Safety Cables - 5,000 lbs - Qty 2
Yup, they are steel cables and at one year they have not rusted in half. Well, ok, they have not rusted at all even at the point where I let one rub on the frame and it chewed an away some of the coating. Good cables which will last as long as I need. I actually moved them from the wrangler i originally installed them on to our new maverick to tow that.
The cable assemblies are well made and a fair price given the quality of the hardware the strength of the splices.
