Best Ford F-350 Super Duty Trailer Hitch Ball Mounts

About a year ago, I bought a new to me truck that needed a 2.5" hitch. I love this 3 in 1 setup. I really like that it stows and I can always have it back there. I haven't used the 1 7/8" yet, but there are plenty of old trailers out there that would need it at some point. I have used the 2" & 2 5/16" plenty. It's sturdy, looks good, and is super convenient, what's not to like about it.

Why did I wait so long to buy this awesome hitch! (I guess because i had my doubts, given the cost). This has been so useful as I have 4 bumper pull trailers with 3 sizes of balls. I dont move them all the time, but when i do use them, i often find myself using more than one in a day. I told my neighbor about my experience and he bought one for each of his trucks. It is SO easy to change the size...like 10-15 seconds

I love this hitch. With a locking pin, it stays on my truck all the time. Here’s why: Height adjustment. This truck was tall when I bought it, so I needed the drop for my trailers to ride level. 3 balls. We have 3 trailers of different sizes and weights, so all 3 balls get used. And a step! Even when not towing, I use this step to access the bed all the time. Fits my 3” receiver without an adapter. Spend the money and you will have no regrets down the road.

Everything i need as 1 hitch. Best investment and a great timesaver!! No more swapping hitches, balls, and adjusting height for each receiver.

Went with the B&W due to the length of the shaft going into the receiver. My 2024 Ram's receiver is recessed under the bumper. This hitch is long enough to accept my Towtector product. Similar to Rock Tamers. Also, Brittany in customer service was awesome to work with as she guided me towards the product that worked for my application.

This ball mount is extremely heavy duty. I had a stock class IV hitch and aftermarket ball mount on my Ram 3500 SRW and it was bending towing a 14000 lb dump trailer. I upgraded to a class V hitch and this mount and it's working great. I have 6 trailers that I pull with gooseneck, 5th wheel and ball hitches. The only 1 that uses 1 7/8" ball is a little 5x8 utility trailer that I'm converting to 2" so I got the 2 ball instead of the 3. When turned sideways it works as a step to get into the truck but only if the tailgate is up. It doesn't stick out far enough when the tailgate is open. The reason for 1 less star is the documentation; you need more information to make the best choice. I originally ordered a different PN and it hung way too low bc is mounted under the existing hitch. To remove the stock hitch, you also remove the integrated mounting brackets for the bumper. I ordered a PN for a truck without a hitch and cut off the receiver tube with a torch. Also, I upgraded the 3 1/2" exhaust to 4" and now at idle the exhaust rattles on the much larger frame of the class V but a slight modification in planned to take care of that. Installation was fairly straighforward once I removed the original receiver tube.

This forged ball mount was not machined flat around mounting hole. I had to grind a flat surface for proper fit.

I have had The B&W 5th Wheel hitch and liked it so much that i went with the This B&W drop bumper hitch. Out of the box I'm verry pleased. Time will tell how it holds up.

Well machined, solid as a rock, and all hinge points move freely. I'm confident that it will continue to be dependable for years to come. Worth the money for a lifetime hitch.

This review does not just serve my recent order, but all of the orders before it. I have purchased a number of items from etrailer and everything was sent in a timely manor as stated and promised. All of the items I received were exactly as described. I watched a number of videos, read a number of diagrams and all of the help information was exactly what I needed. In other words I did not need to go anywhere else to get a full tow package for a Dodge 5500 that did not have one. I cannot say enough about how this website helped me. This is a heavy duty combo pintle / ball mount. It is replacing one that failed at the welds. Since this is a solid piece with no welds I expect many years of use.

I have both ball and pintle hitch Trailers. That is why I bought this hitch. The hitch it self is well built but the Paint job is not that great . I have had it a year and most of the paint on the Shank ( another reason I bought it for the 3" shank to fit my receiver on my ford Superduty) is pretty much gone. The hitch it self still clanks around in the receiver .I wish there was an adaptor to fit over the Larger ball so that my pintle eye would not move around so much.

Just received this mount and did the test fit with our trailer. We have not hit the road with it yet but I am confident it will perform perfectly. I am anxious to see how the cushioned feature works. We pull a box cargo trailer for business and just got a new Chevy HD pickup to tow with. It has a 2.5" receiver and hitch height is much greater than the Suburban we were using plus it had a 2" receiver. This mount is rated for far more weight than we will ever need but it was the only 2.5" size with 6" drop that I could find. We are very pleased with the product and the excellent customer service we got at etrailer. These hitches are the best! And I scanned the world over to find only hitches that are made in USA like I do every product I buy. This is a very ingenious design that allows some shock absorption that greatly quiets any trailering. I bought two full hitches one for each ball size so that I would never have to change ball again! Great product!

This thing is a beast. As for etrailer, as always, super fast shipping and no complaints.

I already have one for my camper ball and needed another for my other trailers so I wouldn’t have to switch’s balls on the mount all the time….. now I just pull the pin and swap out the whole thing

The chrome trailer hitch I ordered initially seemed promising, but Even with diligent care, including not leaving it on when not in use and avoiding exposure to winter weather, the chrome trailer hitch still succumbed to rust. This unexpected deterioration highlights a significant flaw in its durability, leaving me disappointed in its overall performance.

I recently purchased a B&W a 7" Drop, Trip Ball Hitch from the factory. I ordered a 3" Reese instead of a 2 1/2" that I needed. Noah and Tammi in Customer Service jumped right on the issue and got me the correct hitch and a quick return/credit for the other one. Couldn't be more happy with the company and the hitch. The ball mount and stainless steel ball are exactly what I wanted. This is a 3" square hitch, so pretty heavy stuff. This has been one of the best hitches that I have owned. It is adjustable to change between my Jeep Wrangler and my Ford F-150 Limited. Both have different tow heights and tow needs based on trailer type and payload capacity. This hitch has worked great for those purposes!

I ordered this hitch so that I could level out my boat trailer . It’s really nice heavy construction. It did the job for me . Really nice ease of changing ball size . Only thing is the sticker was off when it came out of the box . Not usable so it exposed the hole that hitch rotates on
