Best 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty Trailer Hitch Ball Mounts

I love this hitch. With a locking pin, it stays on my truck all the time. Here’s why: Height adjustment. This truck was tall when I bought it, so I needed the drop for my trailers to ride level. 3 balls. We have 3 trailers of different sizes and weights, so all 3 balls get used. And a step! Even when not towing, I use this step to access the bed all the time. Fits my 3” receiver without an adapter. Spend the money and you will have no regrets down the road.

1 product was missing from my order due to stock issues but nothing was stated about that in the order status. The order mitigation by Kimberly was great though. Helped get that product reordered and helped with a hitch exchange that I ordered wrong. Very good experience overall. The emails for every step of the order is appreciated and thorough.

Went with the B&W due to the length of the shaft going into the receiver. My 2024 Ram's receiver is recessed under the bumper. This hitch is long enough to accept my Towtector product. Similar to Rock Tamers. Also, Brittany in customer service was awesome to work with as she guided me towards the product that worked for my application.

This ball mount is extremely heavy duty. I had a stock class IV hitch and aftermarket ball mount on my Ram 3500 SRW and it was bending towing a 14000 lb dump trailer. I upgraded to a class V hitch and this mount and it's working great. I have 6 trailers that I pull with gooseneck, 5th wheel and ball hitches. The only 1 that uses 1 7/8" ball is a little 5x8 utility trailer that I'm converting to 2" so I got the 2 ball instead of the 3. When turned sideways it works as a step to get into the truck but only if the tailgate is up. It doesn't stick out far enough when the tailgate is open. The reason for 1 less star is the documentation; you need more information to make the best choice. I originally ordered a different PN and it hung way too low bc is mounted under the existing hitch. To remove the stock hitch, you also remove the integrated mounting brackets for the bumper. I ordered a PN for a truck without a hitch and cut off the receiver tube with a torch. Also, I upgraded the 3 1/2" exhaust to 4" and now at idle the exhaust rattles on the much larger frame of the class V but a slight modification in planned to take care of that. Installation was fairly straighforward once I removed the original receiver tube.

Looks amazing, came as advertised with quick shipping. Super easy to adjust for different balls and heights. No more swapping out receivers when I go from 2" to 2-5/8 tongues. Would have gotten 5 stars if a hitch pin was included, especailly at this price point. Interested to see how it holds up over time.

Sturdy, handy and convenient. Not as much 'play' as I had expected. I regularly haul 16k+ with this. Only thing to know is keep it clean/maintain the 'slide' for easy swapping from 2" to 2-5/16".

Product looks great just wondering if a one and seven eights inch ball can be added if the 2 inch ball is removed

This is a serious hitch!! Well designed and built. Easy to install and change out. You only need a locking hitch pin on the receiver as the ball and carrier are machined into the hitch. Super fast delivery from etrailer. Great company and I buy from them for all my trailer and truck needs.

About the hitch I think it is wonderful. Here in California we have a stupid law that doesnt allow you to leave your hitch ball in when not in service.About etrailer the service is great and the staff is very helpfull.

I have been towing trailers many years With no issues until recently. Trailer weights have increased and loads also. My three way ball with 2 5/16 was torn off of tubing because of insufficient welding, I was very lucky. Yes I went to a solid receiver with bolt style ball. Very great setup. Thanks curt for designing heavy hitches and etrailer for easy ordering.

The 5” B&W has worked great for me. This year I’ve towed an 18 foot speed boat, a 21 foot family boat, and a travel trailer. Used 3 different heights on hitch to accommodate each trailer, including the larger ball for the travel trailer. When all done, I use the stow feature too. No more hitting shins on the hitch! Quality unit, very happy with its versatility and solid craftsmanship.

Great heavy dury hitch for towing. Less noise than other hitches and does a great job pulling my boat. Love the easy adjusting to height based on terrain where you may need to change this. Worth every dollar and likely a hitch for life.

I have had The B&W 5th Wheel hitch and liked it so much that i went with the This B&W drop bumper hitch. Out of the box I'm verry pleased. Time will tell how it holds up.

This review does not just serve my recent order, but all of the orders before it. I have purchased a number of items from etrailer and everything was sent in a timely manor as stated and promised. All of the items I received were exactly as described. I watched a number of videos, read a number of diagrams and all of the help information was exactly what I needed. In other words I did not need to go anywhere else to get a full tow package for a Dodge 5500 that did not have one. I cannot say enough about how this website helped me. Very happy with the hitch. Looked FOREVER all over for details when I got my new to me 2017 Ram 2500. This truck sits so dang high off the ground (4x4) I was worried about getting the proper range of drop for my different trailers. I used my 7x14 utility trailer as my baseline as it rides the lowest. From ground to bottom of my ball coupler is approx 16in. From ground to top of my hitch receiver is approx 25in. On the lowest setting my trailer sits ever so slightly nose totally empty. Check the pic with level. Once loaded I'm confident it will ride very nice. Plus I have all the range to move up for my taller trailers. Super beefy, seems well built, and I picked up the locking pins to go with. Etrailer as always had a great price and I've been ordering from them for years.

I have a 2018 Ram 2500 and was in the market for a hitch. So as usual I go and check out etrailer. I was initially wanting a 8 inch drop but couldn’t find a style I liked. I personally didn’t want aluminum nothing against them just wanted steel. Finding information sometimes can be difficult so this is my main reason for review. As for etrailer I ordered this on a Tuesday afternoon and was at my house by noon on Wednesday. I was expecting Friday possibly Monday for delivery. This hitch is heavy. Fits in receiver good also stays close to bumper for better handling of to tongue weight and also to save your shin pretty sure you run into this thing you won’t forget it. I haven’t towed with this hitch yet but very confident it will be no problem. I have included some photos to help. This truck is all stock. The only negative if there is one is with the hitch in receiver and you hit a decent bump it does let you know it is in receiver.

It now makes it so I can pull anything except a 5th wheel. It will make it great on the ranch.

After finding out that it's made in China I ordered a similarly priced Gen Y dual ball mount with better weight rating and made in USA. Not a bad hitch if you need pintle ring capability its just the made in china thing that down rates it for me. My fault for not looking more carefully about country of origin.

I have both ball and pintle hitch Trailers. That is why I bought this hitch. The hitch it self is well built but the Paint job is not that great . I have had it a year and most of the paint on the Shank ( another reason I bought it for the 3" shank to fit my receiver on my ford Superduty) is pretty much gone. The hitch it self still clanks around in the receiver .I wish there was an adaptor to fit over the Larger ball so that my pintle eye would not move around so much.

These hitches are the best! And I scanned the world over to find only hitches that are made in USA like I do every product I buy. This is a very ingenious design that allows some shock absorption that greatly quiets any trailering. I bought two full hitches one for each ball size so that I would never have to change ball again! Great product!

Just received this mount and did the test fit with our trailer. We have not hit the road with it yet but I am confident it will perform perfectly. I am anxious to see how the cushioned feature works. We pull a box cargo trailer for business and just got a new Chevy HD pickup to tow with. It has a 2.5" receiver and hitch height is much greater than the Suburban we were using plus it had a 2" receiver. This mount is rated for far more weight than we will ever need but it was the only 2.5" size with 6" drop that I could find. We are very pleased with the product and the excellent customer service we got at etrailer. Thanks to everyone there for the very fast service and for keeping me informed as to the status of my order. well done!

Super beefy and very well made. Packed well too. Some careful thought and enginnering went into this piece and you can tell. Im old enough to remember being able to buy high quality, locally made stuff for a reasonable price. Seems like those days are mostly gone. seems to be well built, haven't used it yet. Thought I would be pulling a pontoon trailer, but it fell through and have never used the tow and stow ball mount.

Using this hitch on my Expedition and LandCruiser. A standard hitch caused my 12 ft utility trailer to not ride level when towed behind either truck. Since my trucks have different ride heights, the B&W hitch allows me to get the perfect drop for each truck. Trailer responds much better to road issues level as opposed to angled behind the truck. Additionally, its rating exceeds both of the trucks’ towing capabilities, so I have the hitch I need for the future as I have plans for a heavier trailer down the road. Quality and fitment of the hitch is excellent.

This thing is a beast. As for etrailer, as always, super fast shipping and no complaints.

I already have one for my camper ball and needed another for my other trailers so I wouldn’t have to switch’s balls on the mount all the time….. now I just pull the pin and swap out the whole thing

The chrome trailer hitch I ordered initially seemed promising, but Even with diligent care, including not leaving it on when not in use and avoiding exposure to winter weather, the chrome trailer hitch still succumbed to rust. This unexpected deterioration highlights a significant flaw in its durability, leaving me disappointed in its overall performance.

I recently purchased a B&W a 7" Drop, Trip Ball Hitch from the factory. I ordered a 3" Reese instead of a 2 1/2" that I needed. Noah and Tammi in Customer Service jumped right on the issue and got me the correct hitch and a quick return/credit for the other one. Couldn't be more happy with the company and the hitch.
