Swagman Truck Bed Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - Fork Mount - 9-mm Skewer
It worked well, but not without doing some "tweaking". When set down on the bed rails the locking pin would not line up with the hole in the bar so it took some filing on the hole to get it to work. Also the axle mounts would not set flat on the mounting pads so that also took some work with a file to get them to mount flat. Once I got all of that done it works fine.
I bought this bike rack because I didn't want to have to remove my bed cover every time I wanted to take our bikes on a trip. This rack works perfect because I can roll up my cover and this thing just clamps across the bed. Taking the front tire on and off is kind of time consuming but when I travel with my brother who has a hitch mount rack, it takes him just as long to unload his bike as it takes me to unload. The wheel mounts tighten easily and the bikes appear secure during long drives, so I don't worry about them coming loose. Of course, you'll want to wrap a bike chain around the bike and rack if you plan to leave them out to make sure no one can steal the bike (although it would be missing a wheel)

Inno Velo Gripper Bike Rack for Truck Beds - Clamp On
I’m a senior and was searching for ways to transport our ebikes without having to lift them. Fortunately I found the Inno Velo Gripper Bike Rack for Truck Beds and installed them on my utility tilt trailer. They work great, were easy to install and no lifting onto a car mounted bike rack needed.
Using the Grippers for carrying 2 ebikes, weighing 55 & 75 lbs. I know this is above the rated bike weights but so far they have performed well. My short bed keeps the 75# bike pretty well locked in front to back so that may help.

Softride Shuttle Pad Tailgate Pad for Full-Size Trucks - Up to 6 Bikes - 61" Wide
The product review/installation video helped me make my selection. I selected the full size pad for 2001 Silverado 1500. Installs easily, fits nicely, flap in pad is positioned for easy access to tailgate latch.
This is my second - I'm replacing one that has worn out over 4 years of use. Used. Worn out. Worn hard. I like it enough I came back for another. Yes, the seams finally pull apart, and the fabric weathers - even the top strap broke. After four years. And I came back for another. This is a great product and mine has paid for itself over and over. Whether hauling one bike, two, three, or four. Highly recommended.

Swagman Patrol Truck Bed Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - Fork Mount - 9-mm Skewer and 15-mm Thru-Axle
The quality of the rack is fantastic. Sadly the keys do not work on the Locking Quick Release Skewers. I've contacted Swagman about this and am waiting for a response.
Excellent Customer service and help for this product. Thank you Carol and Neil your the best.

Kuat Dirtbag Bike Rack - Fork Mount - Bolt On - 15 mm Thru-Axle Skewer
Cheap alternative compared to having to buy a 9mm thru axle mount for the utili-track in my Nissan Frontier AND THEN having to buy an adapter for that! For under $10 I bought some parts from a local hardware store and made this mount fit the track. It's sturdy, and high quality.
My Kuat DirtBag Bike Rack Application Nice product

Hollywood Racks Truck Bed Bike Carrier - Fork Mount - Bolt On
The Hollywood Racks Truck Bed Bike Carrier - Fork Mount - Bolt On, is just what I was looking for to be able to build a bike rack for carrying one of my bikes on my motorcycle. It was easy to mount and it holds my bike in place while riding on bumpy dirt roads, city streets, highways and even when I hit some twisty country roads. It's really easy to load and unload my bike when I get to where I want to ride. I use a velcro strap around the quick-release and the fork arm as an added safety as well as a couple tie-downs from my bike handlebars to my motorcycle passenger pegs to help distribute the weight on my rack. If you want to build your own DIY bike rack I totally recommend the Hollywood Racks Truck Bed Bike Carrier - Fork Mount - Bolt On.
Love this product! I built a great bike carrying system for my F-150 using two of these fork clamps. They are easy to install and extremely well made. No more tangled bikes and lots more room in the bed for other stuff! Best way to go for a nice bike rack system. Thanks, Phil T.

RockyMounts HotRod Truck Bed Bike Carrier - Thru-Axle Mount - Bolt On - Black
This is not the first bolt-on 12mm thru-axle fork mount I've attempted to use, but it IS the only one I've ever actually been able to use properly. I'm always please with RockyMounts quality and this is no different!
Quick delivery, excellent, well made product, five minute installation, extremely satisfied. Product exactly as advertised.

Thule Insta-Gater Pro Truck Bed Bike Rack - 1 Bike
Linda and I recently ordered two Aventon Pace 500 NextGen E-bikes from [bike store] in Madison, WI. Not wanting to just toss our expensive new bikes in the back of the p/u when they arrive next month we promptly ordered the Thule Instagator from etrailer. My prior experience with etrailer came as a recommendation from a friend. I was able to do quite a bit of the research on etrailers website, the demonstration video extremely helpful and we placed an order. The racks were in-stock, shipped promptly, etrailer providing a very nice tracking link that included pics of the staff involved in processing the order and a map of the route all the way to delivery. Absolutely 1st rate service. The racks showed up in perfect condition about two days after placing the order, exactly as promised. We are very pleased with etrailer, will most certainly be ordering from them again and recommend this company w/o reservation. Nice job etrailer!
Installed in my Ford Ranger. With the dealer installed drop in bed liner on my truck, my bikes are too long to mount the front tire in the rack as I have less than 60 inches by a couple. So I mount with rear tire and the front tire at an angle in the front corner of the truck bed. Loading is a little awkward. I can’t secure the carriers (I have two) by closing the tail gate as my E-bikes are too heavy at about 50 lbs. each to lift over the closed tailgate. So I have to mount them with the tailgate open, then position the racks where I can close the tail gate with a good fit and then ratchet up the slack of the holding straps. With the bricks mounted this way the security chain built into the carrier is not long enough to go around the main part of the frame in fron of the seat. It has to go on/over the rear part of the frame. With the short trips I’ve taken so far the bikes seem reasonably secure. There is some sway from the front tires, but on long trips I will probably secure some how with a strap. Unloading is also not the easiest, mainly due to the weight of the bikes. Two people makes it much easier. Finally, the carriers could be easily stolen by simply pulling out the ratchet straps or cutting them. Recommend a security chain lock be attached to the carrier and also maybe the bike.

Yakima Locking BlockHead Single Bike Truck Bed Mounted Rack - Bolt-on - 9-mm Skewer
Bought this product one year ago, and I absolutely love it! I bolted it to my pickup box. It is in brand new condition after a year in our harsh coastal weather. It is a breeze to operate. And the locking system secures my bike so well that I have piece of mind if I have to leave my bike unattended. I highly recommend this product! Fast shipping, very reasonable price.
I thought you guys might want to see the way I am using the Yakima bike racks.

Thule GateMate Pro Tailgate Pad for Full-Size Trucks - Up to 7 Bikes - 53" Wide
It has 7 different areas to strap bicycles down but there is definitely not room to strap 7 bikes down from what I can tell. The straps were a little tricky to feed under the tailgate and pull up at the same time with only one person. Overall it works pretty well but it appears to only have enough room for 4 MTN bikes.
Work good for my Toyota Tacoma 2023 tailgate

Swagman Paramount Tailgate Pad for Full-Size Trucks - Up to 7 Bikes - 61" Wide
I've been using this for a couple of years now. I mainly use it when we go camping. It's been great for carrying the 4 bikes we have. The bikes never have shifted/moved while in transit. The tailgate pad is a little tricky to put on (I lay under the truck and fish the strap up to my son). I've installed the mat by myself but it's way easier with 2 people.
Really like this bike rack for my truck. Easy to put on. Handles the Mtb bikes well.

Inno Velo Gripper Bike Rack for Truck Beds - C-Channel Mount
Easy to set-up, adjust & use. Keeps the bikes secure and upright even on rough 4WD roads. I pull a camp trailer often, so couldn't use a hitch rack, but these are better anyhow because I can keep an eye on my bikes while on the road, plus, they don't stress the frame from a weird angle, the way some racks do. These were definitely worth the money. Very satisfied.
I love this bike rack…I use it for my Mokwheel Basalt…that’s 82 pounds of E-bike…holds like a champ…I adapted it to work with the track rack I installed on my truck…fantastic

Swagman Tailwhip Tailgate Pad for Full-Size Trucks - Up to 5 Bikes - 61" Wide
This product fits over the tailgate of our full size pick up. We bought this product because we wanted to take our bikes with us on our camping trips. We had a receiver bike rack but needed some way to carry our bikes securely while pulling our travel trailer. We also wanted to be able to carry our grandkids bikes. We have secured at least 5 bikes with the Swagman Tailwhip Tailgate Pad and Bike Rack. The only problem we had was that the velcro tie downs didn't fasten as tight as we would have liked. We have used additional bungie cords to keep the bikes in place. That is the reason this review did not get a 5 star. We are very happy with this product.
Product was delivered sooner than expected and is of good quality. Fits 2016 Tundra perfectly. Placement took less than 5 mins, and removal takes about 10 seconds. Mine came with a click strap on the flap where the handle/camera are, which is used to fold flap back over tailgate leaving the camera available for use but securing the flap on backside of tailgate. The video does not show that but to me is a great feature.

Kuat Dirtbag Bike Rack - Fork Mount - Bolt On - Boost 110 Thru-Axles
This is a great way to transport a bike. Just bolt the dirtbag to a surface and attach the fork. I have mine mounted in the back of our minivan and regularly transport my mountain bike inside the van. The dirtbag comes in sizes to fit most fork configurations. I have a through axle for my tandem bike, 100mm for my mountain bike, and now the 110mm for my 29+ mountain bike. They all have the same hole pattern so I just swap them out depending on which bike I am transporting.
Few retailers sell the 15mm x 110mm (Boost) thru-axle mount let alone stock it. etrailer had it and sold it for less the manufacturer. Their economy shipping got it to me (Missouri to San Diego) in under a week. I didn’t want to drill into my truck bed rails so I connected to an existing tie mount via an aluminum angle (see pics). Heavy duty steel construction. This mount will definitely outlast my bike. I’m pleased with the product and etrailer’s service.

Kuat Dirtbag Phat 9 Fat Bike Rack - Fork Mount - Bolt On - 9 mm Quick-Release Skewer
Product looks great. Fits our Fat Tire ebikes great. But your template is for the smaller mount. No big deal but you should caution customers before they drill into anything.
I bought this for my fat tire HIMIWAY ZEBRA E-BIKE to mount to the rails in my 2018 Toyota Tundra. The mount was sturdy. After looking all over the internet this was the best I could find. The issue I had with it is that the bike weighs 88lbs and it was difficult to get the front fork on the mount. But the bigger issue was the weight of the bike on the mount added allot of stress to the Tundra rail system to the point where it was flexing the front of the truck bed. I did not want to risk the potential damage to the truck through bumps and long hauls . I would definitely recommend this if you have a regular fat tire bike as it’s not as heavy and won’t stress the bed.

Kuat Dirtbag Phat 15 Fat Bike Rack - Fork Mount - Bolt On - 15 mm x 150 mm Thru-Axle Skewer
It's been a great purchase -- the fork mount has worked out exactly as I hoped -- no fuss mounting of my Salsa Beargrease Fat Bike in the bed of my Ford Maverick pickup which has a flexed with slots made for a 2x6 to mount the bike. This is a high quality mount.
The Kuat bike fork mount works great! My bike attaches quickly and securely to the mount.

Swagman Paramount Tailgate Pad for Mid-Size Trucks - Up to 5 Bikes - 54" Wide
Well made, but you need to do something about the 3 straps...and how you can push a wet noodle up through the gap. Gonna have to put a sting down, and attach it to each stap to pull them up.

RockyMounts DropTop Truck Bed and Utility Track Bike Rack - 1 Bike - 12-mm or 15-mm Thru-Axle
Not your fault but Rocky Mount. Doesn't really fit fork well as there is MUCH play and screwed in a far as one can go. Is not a 1 fit all for 12 or 15. Needs an additional gasket/grommet to securely hold. With all the extra play I can see the front fork breaking from stress in moving around.
This is an awesome product! I have been using it regularly for the last week and it is spot on. Easy to install and use as well!
A Closer Look at the Kuat Huk Curved Tailgate Bike Pad on a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500
Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer. If you have a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 and you're looking at trying to take your bikes from point A to point B, but you wanna save your hitch for other accessories, or you don't have a hitch reducer so you can get your bike racks mounted on here, then a tailgate pad is gonna be a much better option for you. So let's check it out. Like I was saying, your hitch is probably gonna be too large for any other types of standard bikes because right now we have a two and a half inch hitch receiver. And even if you did have a hitch receiver that did work with your bike racks, I'd recommend saving that for something else if you had a trailer or anything else that you wanted to take with you, especially if you're planning some larger or longer camping trips. And what I also like about a tailgate pad is they're just really easy to work with.
Swagman Tailwhip Tailgate Pad for Full-Size Trucks Fit Verified - 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500
Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer. If you have a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 and you're just kind of getting into biking for the first time, but you wanna take your friends or family out with you, Swagman Tailwhip Tailgate Pad is gonna be a great option for you. So let's check it out. So what I really like about a tailgate pad is it's a great way to transport your bikes really neatly, because they're gonna keep 'em all organized, much better option rather than just throwing 'em in your bed where they can get tangled up or scratched up. And what I like this about this more than a hitch mounted bike rack is a hitch mounted bike rack is gonna block a lot more in the back of your vehicle. And we're gonna be able to leave this open, so if you want to carry a trailer at the same time, you have that ability.
Mount: Swagman Paramount Tailgate Pad for Full-Size Trucks on a 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500
Hey, it's Ethan from here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Swagman Paramount Seven Bike Tailgate Pad for full size trucks on our 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. Might be a good option for you if you're trying to get up to seven bikes where you're needing to go, but maybe you're towing something or you don't want the added length that a bike rack will add from your hitch, this could be a good option for you. The bike is being held by the frame on these hook and loop straps in the back. You can slide them up and down a little bit to adjust. If you do have a carbon frame bike, we recommend not using a tailgate pad or anything that holds onto it by the frame, 'cause it could potentially be damaged while it's driving.
Fit Check: Inno Velo Gripper Bike Rack for Truck Beds on a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500
Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 we're going to do a test fit of the Inno Velo Gripper bike rack for truck beds, part number INRT201. We have a bike already on it. We're going to show you how it's all hooked up. How it is pretty much hooked up, we have a strap around our forks and a strap right here around our seat pole. To disengage it we have a little slot here we just push and to engage it just throw it in there, pull it until it's nice and tight. So we'll go ahead and pull it out. We're going to do the other one also in the back.
Thule Truck Bed Bike Racks Review - 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500
Today on our 2016 Chevorlet Silverado 2500, we're doing a test fit of the Thule Insta-gater Single Truck Bed Bike Rack. That part number is TH501. Now we already have our bike secured down. We're going to first show you how we do that and then well go over how we secure the bike rack to our truck. Here on our rack we have our bike pushed all the way up against the front of our truck bed or our tailgate there. We've got a wheel cradle down here where the bike's just going to sit right in the middle. Then back here in the back we have a wheel hook that's going to loop around the back of it and just kind of hold the bike up against that tailgate. Now to remove our bike, we're going to come over to the hook, push the button here on the end, and we can lift up our hook.
