Best 2022 Chevrolet Equinox Roof Racks

I ordered the entire set up, as well as carriers for our kayaks. At first, it seemed I had ordered the wrong parts, as the feet were rather wobbly. I sent a photo to customer service, and got a response from Julia almost immediately (and it was a Saturday!). She included a video with her email, and my question about proper installation was solved. The ordering process was simple, shipping was fast, and Rhino Rack has an excellent brand reputation. Installation was fairly straight forward. E- trailer made everything so simple from beginning to end, and I will be buying all of my accessories from them.

Very happy with the results. Rhino Rack would not confirm a fit for my 2019 Chevy Equinox LT. The installation instructions listed cutting the front measuring strips at 120 mm for the front crossbar for the Euro bar. This left my legs a good six inches too narrow to span my roof. After some tweaking I achieved a good sold fit. None of your competitors would claim they had a fit kit for the 2019 Equinox. Thanks to etrailer.com for recommending this product.

When we made our Chevy Equinox into our RV towed car we quickly found out we needed help from etrailer.com. From ebrakes and a baseplate to the tow bar and naked rook Rhino roof rack they were great to work with. I did all of the installation and most of it was easy. Some of it was harder so we relied on etrailer's great videos for things like installing the brake system and base plate. Everything is working great so kudos to etrailer!

Excellent system. Little to no wind noise. Measurements to mount the rear bar to the 2020 Equinox are incorrect in the instructions but easy to adjust to an exact fit.

The roof bars are awesome. I use them with a roof top cargo carrier. They are very easy to put on and off the 2017 Equinox.

It arrived in good shape fits well, in the back there seems to be a bit of gap on the rubber pads, probably its supposed to be like that, I don't think it'll affect the rack in any way. I shaked it like a gorilla, seems sturdy. The only downside would be that me being from Canada, I didn't know it's in US dollars, so I thought they're ~450$, and I got a surprise withdrawal of ~720$, but that's ob me, should've researched better. Maybe in the future there could be some sort of big attention sign for dummies like me? :))

This was the kit for my 2020 equinox. The spacing of the feet on the vortex aero bars was incorrect I had to use the Euro sizes. Went back and forth with customer service trying to get confirmation that was the right size but it never was confirmed. Everything is installed now and sturdy.

Disappointed. The clamp covers are poorly designed, they don’t stay in place once the clamps are tightened. Although this product says it fits my vehicle (2022 Chevy Equinox), I was forced to place the front cross bar further back than I wanted to because the clamps wouldn’t secure properly where the side rails attach to the roof. The rubber inserts provided to reduce wind noise just loosely fit into the slot on the underneath of the cross bars; doesn’t seem like they’re going to be any benefit.

Had a slight issue, 1 end cap would not latch. Emailed Malone Auto Racks directly and new end caps were sent. No hassle and sent very quickly. Very pleased.

Roof racks work pretty well once I figured out how to correctly assemble them. The locks serve no purpose. You can get by them with an allen wrench. Had delivery problems that you addressed well.

Great bars. It's my second pair. Both on jeep Grand cherokee. The pair I put on my 2015 overland didn't whistle at all. This pair I put on my 2020 trailhawk whistled starting at 20mph and changed pitch throughout the acceleration process and while causing. I bought a fairing and the problem is solved. At least for now. I put the fairing on wit the label in. Looks better and Rhino Rack isn't paying me to advertise. The fairing they recommended seemed small but works so go with whatever they recommend.

Custom RCP fit Kit was the perfect solution for my 2019 equinox with fixed mounting points. GM seems to have discontinued the cross bars for my model and etrailer is the only place I could source a rhino rack that fit. In the end it saved me 400-500 dollars and helped me avoid having to install something that would interfere with my water seal. No issues with shipping even though I reside in Ontario Canada. Original kit I ordered cake with base for CRV. Quick response when I emailed regarding a return and ordering the correct part. Highly recommend.

This rack works perfectly on my Nissan Versa for carrying my two Perception Sound 9'6" kayaks. The Rhino-Racks look good to me. The kayaks can rest directly on the rubber pads on the rails, unlike the Yakama racks I had in the past that had bare pipe rails. Also, I expect I can buy parts to adapt this product to a different car without having to buy new towers. I am sorry there are not hooks or loops to attach bungees when carrying lumber. They are noisy in the wind, but less so when carrying the kayaks.

Worked as designed. Some measurement needed to cut and install seal between attachment brackets, and little trial and error to center/balance the bar across both points (just as one would with a cargo box).

I've had these on my car for a year now. They are decent for the money and I think they look pretty good too. One very weak point is the plastic end caps. They snap on and are flimsy. I lost one in short order and broke another one sliding a sheet of plywood over it. It would not be hard for them to design a better cap that is fastened better to the rails. I 3D printed new ones that work great and installed with a screw.

Excellent customer service. First set of crossbars was delivered to the wrong address and a second set was mailed out to us arriving in a week.

Fit perfectly and we're very happy with the roof rack.

I was in a roof rack jam. There was a national shortage of the rack I needed for my car and our summer vacation was a week away. We have been very happy with our Rhino Rack system atop our 2018 Chevy Express Van. We carry 2 Kayaks ( sit in style, 14 ft and 12 ft) upside down on the van roof and use some eye bolts and ladder supports with ratchet straps to hold them in place. It took a while to get them( due to being out of stock) but eTrailer has excellent customer service and kept in touch with us on the order status until they arrived.

Crossbars are true and straight. Work perfect for my application. Reliable product. Mounted solar panels to them.

Rack looks sturdy. For my 2017 vw Alltrack the rear bar could be replaced for a shorter. On my side picture that is as far back the bar will go (item ja7975). Which it worked out for this application if you want the bar further aft a shorter bar will be needed. The front fit well within it’s range. The car tapers towards the back so back bar is shorter. I also dont like how VW put a notch on the bottom rail. It looks like the straps will be easy to cut with a bolt cutter.
