Most Popular Keyed Unique for 2019 Ford Fusion

Bought this to lock up two bikes onto a Swagman XTC2 rack on a Ford Fusion. The cable is the perfect length to handle going through 2 bike frames and locking to the hitch pin. I've used it only occasionally in the past year, but have been satisfied with it. The only downside to using it with a sedan is that it's a bit of a crawl to get down to the hitch to lock it up once the bikes are in place. It would probably be a bit easier with a higher vehicle like an SUV. But I don't mind it. I keep a ratchet wrench in the trunk for snugging up the keeper pin and it's very nice for keeping the hitch rack from rattling in the receiver.

I found this product to be as advertised. Solid, well made. I chose this one, because I needed to be sure my Bacchetta Giro recumbent would fit it. The product was easier to install than it was for me to figure how to adjust it, so that my recumbent would fit it — mainly because of the seat and the other gear I had on the bike. I didn’t want to have to remove/move any gear every time I wanted to transport the bike. But once I figured that out, the setup is golden. It’ll be easy to get the bike on and off. Also, because I have only one recumbent to transport, I can access the hatchback without taking the bike off the rack! Thumbs up!

Works well. Bolts through Hitch receiver so you can snug it down to avoid rattling. Locking cap just spins around unless unlocked, so about impossible to remove.

The hitch lock spans my new 2.5 inch receiver with about 1/4 inch to spare and is now lockable. The original hitch tite pin is the same length but the lock on this item locks from the side and makes better use of the pin.

The product looks to be a good quality item. But it is hard to rate something that stops bad things from happening. It does provide that first important thing: deterrence.

The lock-to-receiver is great, but the hitch lock-to-ball was too small diameter. I really didn’t like it so just stayed with my master lock.

I use this lock on the my Brophy 7 inch hitch adapter that is on my bike rack. Works! Easy on and off. No rattles or play after a year of use in rain, snow and sunshine cause it is so rugged. And I don't see how you could cut it off. You would need a torch. So it gives me security peace of mind on the road and overnight in hotel parking lots.

Quality construction. The bolt is stainless and much thicker than other entitle pins of this design. The holder for the nut was a little large for my accessory but it’s plastic so it was easy enough to trim with tin snips and a sanding block. Does an excellent job of stopping any rattle or movement of the hitch accessory.

Clearance around the Tesla Model Y hitch receiver is tight but this anti-rattle hitch lock fit perfectly, even after torquing it to spec. The lock mechanism on the left comes very close to the 7-pin connector but it doesn’t touch and the lock rotates freely around the pin. Product appears to be of high quality.

This is a brilliant designed anti-rattle hitch receiver. Easy to install, it both locks your hitch and prevents any shaking from bumps and hard turns. I use it primarily with the Reesa Cargo Carrier, and the carrier is completely locked into the hitch. Also kudos on the great video showing how it works and install instructions. Highly recommended.

I triple checked to make sure I ordered all the right equipment. Everything seems to be 100% right and the quality of the product, B+W triple ball hitch and master lock locking pins, Seem great too. I just opened the box and haven't used it yet but checked sizes are perfect. Trailer always works the first time for me. Thank you etrailer.

awesome lock set! The keyed alike hitch pin and cable with 4 keys are a great design idea. Also, the lock for the hitch pin can just be snapped onto the pin and secured without having the key inserted. I also have a Rocky Mounts Rack and that requires the key to be inserted and in the unlocked position to secure it on the hitch pin. Hollywood does it better!

I have owned two of these for a year now. And both of them are still in excellent shape the one on my truck and camper stay on year round.And neither one of them show any wear at all. And both work flawlessly yet. If you want a coupler and hitch lock keyed the same. I would highly recommend you by this set. And you can't beat trailer price and shipping rates also.

Works great, 1-key fits both locks!

The hitch pin broke on the first trip with the SR2415 bike rack carrying 3 bikes. This rack is rated to carry 4 bikes and the hitch pin is compatible with this bike rack. As you can see in the photos, the color of the outer shell is different from the inner metal of the nut, which I perceive as the nut is not made of the same metal all throughout. Not sure why. The cable lock is NOT compatible with this rack and eTrailer should correct the answer registered on this site regarding this, which I had asked before purchasing this. Etrailer shipping was as always fast but unfortunately this product is seriously bad and is risky to use. Luckily my bike rack did not fall off the hitch and did not go flying on to other cars. I had to go to a local hardware store and buy a 3.5 inch length 1/2 nut and bolt, which worked just fine while returning.

Install was easy though instructions were adequate at best. Lock that holds bike rack to receiver is good daytime deterrent but make sure the lock in snapped in all the way by making sure the bolt in tightened in all the way. Original lock fell off. The bike cable lock is fine for daytime parking at a lot but would not depend on it to deter thieves with a bolt cutter at 3 am. I would use in in combination with a stronger lock then. Delivery was fast and product arrived as described. Blister pack was a pain to open of course.

Good security. We used it on our bike rack and drove from Florida to Vancouver BC and back with no issues.

Works with Yakima EXO and Lexus LX600 if you replace the Yakima anti rattle nut. Voids Yakima warranty, but anti rattle nut can be restored. Ucaveat, you may need to use only one of the two washers, I chose the lock washer

Too soon to see if has any durability. It did stop the rattle.

Just over 1 month and this lock has already failed. Simply unscrewing the bolt 1 time with the lock on the other side still engaged gave enough pressure against the receiver to pop it off. Very dismayed as it seems to be the only hitch lock compatible with the curt 5 bike rack.

I purchased this to connect my new Curt Tray-style Bike Rack (model # 18085) to my new Curt Custom Fit-Class III- 2", Trailer hitch (model # 13530). All of this went on my 2008 Lexus CR350 SUV. I was concerned that was not listed to fit the Curt model hitch and bike rack but it was exactly what was needed to keep. My new equipment locked. I could not be happier. I was able to install everything by myself in minutes. Everything was a perfect fit and now I am ready to take my bikes anywhere!

Works perfectly on my old sportworks rack. Thank to the other reviewer for mentioning it worked on his. There was a gap between the lock and the hitch. I bought ten fender washers to fill the gap. For the price, it was an excellent purchase from eTrailer.
