Curt Bike Rack for 5 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Tilting
The straps are junk and four of them tore within a week of using them. I also almost lost one bike because of the straps. If I could I would return this unit.
We used this bike rack for at least 2 RV trips. The third trip we took we lost one bike off of the rear most rack. Ended up having to replace this bike rack with one from another store. Would only recommend for local trips only.

Swagman XC2 Bike Rack for 2 bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Haven’t used my bike rack yet. However it looks great and was delivered on time.
I wish all vendors were so easy to deal with. Great product!

Swagman XTC4 Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Outstanding product and worth the money. Unpacked this, assembled easily, and loaded it up for 1000 mile roundtrip the next day on our 2013 Chevy Traverse. Very secure and stable - no noise or rattles - everything is snug - excellent quality. Locking hitch pin and locking cable included for great security. And kudos to Etrailer - I waited until the last minute - paid for 2 day shipping and got it in about 28 hours - great service! I will be ordering the 2 bike version for my son to replace the cheap noisy one that he has.
Rack is very sturdy and heavy duty. Instructions were terrible. Locking hitch pin would not thread correctly and ended up damaging it. Thankfully the threads on rack were fine and I was able to use the non-locking threaded pin. Would like a replacement locking pin ASAP

Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
This bike rack is exactly what I was looking for. It is heavy duty, but not too heavy to lift & carry when putting it on our vehicle or camper. I feel that our bikes are very safe and will get to where ever we are going, no matter the distance. Super easy to load and lock down and easy to fold down for getting things out of the Traverse. My wife likes it much better than our old "hanging" rack and can take the bikes off with ease. Great product!
This bike rack was easy to assemble with clear instructions. It holds the bicycles securely. I have a vehicle with a rear lift gate. Once the bicycle is removed, the rack can me repositioned to open the lift gate without having to remove the rack. This rack is easy to use, versatile, and well made. Great purchase. Would purchase it again if I needed another rack.

Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Seems like a good rack for the price, especially when compared to others with the same weight rating. It was very easy to assemble, just a few bolts and that's it. I put two 62lb e-bikes on it (Ride1Up Turris) and it has minimal wobble and movement as expected. The straps that come on the center cradles were too short to go around our bike's frame and battery so I had to purchase a separate set of long straps from Saris for an additional $20. So be aware if you have an e-bike with a fat frame where you plan to use the cradle on, you might have to spend another $20 on a pair of long straps. While I waited for the straps I just used a velcro-strap and it worked fine. So far I am content with this rack overall and hope it lasts many years.. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I had to purchase additional straps to make it work.
I had to put my electric bikes into this rack, backwards, to make them fit. Not ideal, but it works. The receiving 'trays' that are intended to provide support for holding the bikes, by being placed under the bike tires, are forced to be moved to a location that is not directly under the bottom of the bike tires. While it works in this manner, it is not ideal. For the support that attaches to the diagonal bike frame, we had to remove it from the vertical rail of the rack. We reinstalled it, upside down, because that's the only way we could make it fit, or 'grab', the bike frame. Again, we made it work, but it's not ideal. We chose to keep the rack because it was so much less expensive than the Thule rack we considered buying. The bike shop owner didn't agree with us. He observed that we are putting $3000 worth of bikes on the rack and risking that investment. So far, no problems, other than the ill-fitting installation.

Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount - Gray
We love this bike rack for its ease of use and solid construction. Bikes are quick and easy to load in and lock down tight. The hitch-receiver tightening system works great for a wobble-free rack and the hinge and locking lever work smooth and solid. It looks nice too.
So after much research into bike racks, I decided on pulling the plug on the Kuat Sherpa 2.0. I've looked into the Kuat NV and other brands, but they were just too much for my needs. If you've got "regular" bikes and not the heavier eBikes, then this rack is perfect. I wanted a hitch rack that was user friendly and not overly complicated. I have a mixed bag of bikes and this rack can handle them all, from mountain bikes, street bikes, and BMX bikes. I like that this rack comes with an adapter piece for 20"-24" wheels. Assembly of the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 is really a no-brainer. I think it's only 4-5 bolts really. Everything else is ready to go. The anti-rattle hitch ball mechanism is simple to use with just a twist of the dial, easy. The tilt pedal/lever is also easy to access should you need to open your hatch, a solid "click" assures it's in place. So far, loving this rack. Fit and finish is superb. Thanks to Jerred and etrailer for answering my questions, always helpful.

Curt Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Tilting
This rack has worked well for us. I fits the Curt hitch perfectly. It is easy to attach bicycles securely. We can get three adult bicycles on this hitch (see photo). There are sufficient means to protect against sway.
This Curt bike carrier is ideal for my front hitch that I recently installed on my 2005 GMC. I had to remove my front tag holder for clearance but it works perfectley. It can be easily removed and installed on the back hitch when I'm not towing my camper. This is a well built and solid bike carrier. It was delivered very timely and well packaged.

Yakima RidgeBack Bike Rack for 5 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
This Yakima 5 bike rack is exactly what I needed. It's very easy to mount and very sturdy.
Rack is very easy to install and remove, and fits well with no rattle in the 2" receiver. Loading bikes is easy and it will, indeed, hold 5 bikes with relatively little effort. The only negatives I have are 1) Unless I use Yakima's custom locking cable for this rack, there is no good way to lock bicycles to the rack 2) It wasn't clear to me that I would need adapter bars (8002531) for kids bikes. I've always managed to get them on my older racks, but not the Yakima. I suspect that most modern racks would need these bars. Overall, very satisfied.

Rola Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Tilting
I like this bike rack, I’ve used it a few times and it does the job it’s intended to do. Installing and removing is easy. I use it casually I take the family to the park or beach and we want to take our bikes out, the lock feature is a lifesaver. Would definitely recommend
Decent 4-bike rack for the price. Stable side-to-side with the screw-in hitch pin (2 inch receiver version). Gets some fore-aft rocking over bumps at speed (inherent to the tilting design). Bikes need bungee cords to keep them from swinging (typical for this style of rack). I used this with two bikes, and really struggle to see how four full-size bikes could be added. Maybe if seats were removed? I added bumpers and some padding for the vertical post, and will probably relocate the retainer pin lanyard so the rack can be completely collapsed for storage. A few design improvements for 5 star rating would be: 1 - Add some bumpers for the fully lowered position, 2 -Add some padding on the vertical post for bike contact or accidental vehicle hatch lifting when in the raised position, 3 - Mount the retainer pin lanyard to one of the through-bolts or move the lanyard hole - collapsing this rack chews up the retaining lanyard. etrailer.com service was great - well packaged, and quickly shipped!

Yakima RidgeBack Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
The rack was very easy to install. Like anything you do for the first time, the next time would be much easier. Could do 5 or 6 in the time that the first install required. The bike lock was also an easy installation. The two make a nice unit.
Heavy duty. Well made and designed. Easy to install and load. Just arrived so I’ll let you know about the durability.
Install: Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes on a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse
How's it goin' today This is Ed with etrailer.com, and we're takin' a look at the Sport Rider SE on the back of the 2019 Chevrolet Traverse. So, the Sport Rider is actually a really solid e-bike carrier. It has a weight capacity of up to 80 pounds per bike. One thing I think is a con is the fact that, you know, you would have to lift up your bike to get it up to this higher platform on your Traverse. As far as the contact, you have three points of contact on the bike from the carrier, two straps on your wheel cradles, as well as your padded hook. If you have a carbon fiber bike or something that has a nice paint job or, you know, a step through bike or anything like that, you may wanna look towards a wheel-mounted option.
Test Fit: Thule Camber Bike Rack for 4 Bikes on a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse
Hey everyone I'm Collin here at eTRailer. Today we have a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse. We're going to be test fitting the Thule Camber Four Bike Rack. This is a hanging style rack that allows you to transport up to four bikes to and from your destination. With the hanging style, it's going to hold your bike and support it by the top two right here, as well as having three different points of contact. Two of those points are going to be these straps, which come around the top two and secure them into the cradles. The third point's going to be on the seat post tube with an anti-sway cradle and strap, making sure that it doesn't' move too much back and forth.
Fit Check: Thule Helium Pro Bike Rack for 3 Bikes on a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse
Hey, guys. Today, we have a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse, and we're going to do a test fit of the Thule Helium Pro 3-Bike hanging style rack. Now, this bike rack's pretty special in its own way. It is very easy to handle, comes in at about 20 pounds, but it's still able to carry three bikes. You don't see that too often, especially when you get into those platform racks, and they just get to be 60, 70, 80 pounds, and they just get a little too hard to handle when you want to put it in your hitch, or pull it out and store it. So this one's going to be very easy to handle, and still give you that capacity for carrying bikes. You can carry up to three bikes to and from the trails.
Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2019 Chevrolet Traverse TH9042PRO
Hey guys. Today we're going to do a test fit of the Thule Helium Pro two bike hanging style rack on our 2019 Chevrolet Traverse. This bike rack does have a pretty unique feature about it in that, one, it's going to be able to carry two bikes to and from the trails, but it's going to be very easy to handle. It only comes in at just under 20 pounds, so it's going to be very easy to install on your hitch, it's going to be very easy to remove, and even the components around it are going to be very light weight. So you're not going to have too many issues when it comes to lifting it or anything like that. When you get to those platform racks, even the two bike platform racks can come in at 40 to 50 pounds, but this kind of takes that hassle away.It comes with this nice cam buckle strap that's going to allow you to secure your bikes in another way.
Inno Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2019 Chevrolet Traverse
Hey guys, today we have a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse and we're going to do a test of the Inno vertical hang 4 bike hanging style rack. Now, this rack has a unique way of holding your bikes that hasn't really been seen too much from hanging style racks. Now normally, with that style rack, you're going to have 2 posts that are parallel to the ground like so and they'll hold your bike by the top tube. Now, this one's going to have 2 vertical posts that are perpendicular to the ground. And basically, how it's going to hold your bike is the top coil's going to kind of wedge up at the junction of the top tube and the down tube right here. It's going to wedge itself up there, then we have a strap securing it on to the cradle. And then, down here, we're going to have the support cradle that's at the midway point of our down tube.
What our customers are saying:
"The Bike Carrier arrive today in great condition and judging by it's construction the carrier should last a life time. Thanks again, Craig"
