So, here's what our hitch is gonna look like once we have it installed. The cross tube is going to be visible but it's going to be sitting right below the bumper, but the main thing we're going to see is that receiver tube sticking out of the back here. It's a Class 3 hitch, which means it's going to give us that 2" x 2" receiver tube opening, so we're gonna have a lot of different options when it comes to accessories that we can mount up. Now, the way we're going to mount any of our accessories is through the hitch pin hole here on the side. It is going to accept a standard 5/8" pin and clip.

Today on our 2018 Toyota RAV4 we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw Tite Class Two Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver. So here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed on our RAV4. The cross tube's going to sit right below our bumper and it's going to give us an inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening. It is going to accept a standard half inch pin and clip. Now these are not included in the kit, but you can pick them up here at etrailer.com along with some locking devices to keep your accessories secure. If you do plan on doing some light duty towing our receiver chain connection points are going to be a plate style welded to the bottom and you can see we have plenty of room to get most size hooks on or off, but if you are using a rather small hook, just keep in mind it may have a little bit of limitation when it comes to movement because of the flange right here.As far as the weight capacity goes, our hitch is going to have a 300 pound tongue weight, which is the maximum downward force of the receiver tube, along with a 3,500 pound gross trailer weight rating. That's the amount our hitch can pull including the trailer and everything we have loaded on it.
