Best 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty Trailer Hitch Ball Mounts

Looks amazing, came as advertised with quick shipping. Super easy to adjust for different balls and heights. No more swapping out receivers when I go from 2" to 2-5/8 tongues. Would have gotten 5 stars if a hitch pin was included, especailly at this price point. Interested to see how it holds up over time.

used to move enclosed 25' car trailer with 2 5/16 ball and 5x7 open trailer with 2" ball. Did everything I wanted it to do. Like the quick switch between size balls and the up and down movement of ball carrier allowed me to level both the trailers using the same hitch. Hitch shows no sign of wear and tear. Have many positive comments about the look on the truck. Love it Did invest in two key lock type pins, to make sure it does not disappear...

Allows quick adjustment for my assorted trailers. No problems. I recommend.

Very happy with the hitch. Looked FOREVER all over for details when I got my new to me 2017 Ram 2500. This truck sits so dang high off the ground (4x4) I was worried about getting the proper range of drop for my different trailers. I used my 7x14 utility trailer as my baseline as it rides the lowest. From ground to bottom of my ball coupler is approx 16in. From ground to top of my hitch receiver is approx 25in. On the lowest setting my trailer sits ever so slightly nose totally empty. Check the pic with level. Once loaded I'm confident it will ride very nice. Plus I have all the range to move up for my taller trailers. Super beefy, seems well built, and I picked up the locking pins to go with. Etrailer as always had a great price and I've been ordering from them for years.

Great product. Extremely well built and looks great. Very easy to put into stow mode and move it back to the positions you want to tow from. The rated capacity of it is great it’ll do everything your truck will do in a bumper pull mode. It is a must for a 19 F-250 with the ride height to get your load level and to make the connection a easier process.

This review does not just serve my recent order, but all of the orders before it. I have purchased a number of items from etrailer and everything was sent in a timely manor as stated and promised. Solid hitch! If you haul heavy loads and worry about you current hitch, this is the one you need to remove those concerns.

The chrome trailer hitch I ordered initially seemed promising, but Even with diligent care, including not leaving it on when not in use and avoiding exposure to winter weather, the chrome trailer hitch still succumbed to rust. This unexpected deterioration highlights a significant flaw in its durability, leaving me disappointed in its overall performance.

I recently purchased a B&W a 7" Drop, Trip Ball Hitch from the factory. I ordered a 3" Reese instead of a 2 1/2" that I needed. Noah and Tammi in Customer Service jumped right on the issue and got me the correct hitch and a quick return/credit for the other one. Couldn't be more happy with the company and the hitch. Just received this mount and did the test fit with our trailer. We have not hit the road with it yet but I am confident it will perform perfectly. I am anxious to see how the cushioned feature works. We pull a box cargo trailer for business and just got a new Chevy HD pickup to tow with. It has a 2.5" receiver and hitch height is much greater than the Suburban we were using plus it had a 2" receiver. This mount is rated for far more weight than we will ever need but it was the only 2.5" size with 6" drop that I could find. We are very pleased with the product and the excellent customer service we got at etrailer. These hitches are the best! And I scanned the world over to find only hitches that are made in USA like I do every product I buy. This is a very ingenious design that allows some shock absorption that greatly quiets any trailering. I bought two full hitches one for each ball size so that I would never have to change ball again! Great product!

Works as it should. I enjoy not having to hunt for different hitches when switching trailers. So far no rust..

Works great, very easy to adjust. Keep a rag near to wipe off grease when handling pins and any covering balls for winter rust prevention. Only issue is when using 2" ball in the lowest position,the 2 5/16" ball opposite hags bellow hitch body and scrapes the ball on pitched driveways with low drop gate trailers

This forged ball mount was not machined flat around mounting hole. I had to grind a flat surface for proper fit.

This is a serious hitch!! Well designed and built. Easy to install and change out. You only need a locking hitch pin on the receiver as the ball and carrier are machined into the hitch. Super fast delivery from etrailer. Great company and I buy from them for all my trailer and truck needs.

I love this hitch. With a locking pin, it stays on my truck all the time. Here’s why: Height adjustment. This truck was tall when I bought it, so I needed the drop for my trailers to ride level. 3 balls. We have 3 trailers of different sizes and weights, so all 3 balls get used. And a step! Even when not towing, I use this step to access the bed all the time. Fits my 3” receiver without an adapter. Spend the money and you will have no regrets down the road.

The Gen-Y hitch is a beast and should last forever. It weights approx 55 lbs. Haven’t had a chance to use it yet and I hope that it doesn’t rust like I have seen in some reviews on YouTube etc. My big disappointment is the fact that it does not take my 2 1/2” to 2” sleeve (the 2 ball mount is 2 1/2”) so I can use another hitch with it to move a small trailer that rides lower than this hitch goes. I even talked to someone at Gen-Y to verify that it would work. They said it would. IT DOES NOT. To much pain to send it back. I’m sure I would have to pay shipping.

Gen-Y makes a great product. This is my second one I have purchased. The first one went with my truck when I sold it.

My newer Chevy K3500 has a 2 1/2 inch square receiver so I was able too get rid of my 2" ball mount that was almost too heavy to lift and replace it with a new Reese tri- ball mount with a 14,000 lb Gross towing capacity and weighs less than 12 pounds. Thanks to Cathy H. and Chris W. at etrailer.com for finding the right equipment for my needs.

Despite some of the conflicting reports on here about the Reese Tri-ball Titan Hitch fitting 2011 and up Super Dutys I took a gamble and it payed off. It fits my 2012 Super Duty with no issue. I didn't have to grind the corners or take the sticker off or remove any paint. Thanks for the great customer service and answering my questions.

The hitch works perfectly. The drop is exactly what was needed to level my tool trailer. I haave used all three ball sizes to tow various trailers, every time the right size ball and right amount of drop was available. My tool trailer tracks perfectly while on the rough Michigan roads and freeways. All in in an excellent product and a good purchase.

I've used the hitch over the last year on several trailers and loads. The adjustability made towing a much better feel and ride over a fixed hitch that at times not the greatest. I see no wear, very easy to adjust even once coupled to the trailer and finding the trailer needs to be leveled better.

Works flawlessly. I was very excited the day I got home and my Rapid hitch was on the front porch. It came in nice box and was packaged very well. I opened it up and unpacked my rapid hitch and I was very impressed with the quality and precision of this hitch. All of the machining was PERFECT and everything fit together right. I put it in my truck right away. Going down the road with the trailer on and off there is absolutely no rattles, clunks, or jolts. I also love how everything is aluminum or stainless steel, NO RUST. I wish I could've gotten the greaseless model but my boat is too heavy. My only complaint is that it doesn't come with locking pins. With a hitch this expensive I really wish it came with them. Do yourself a favor and order them with your rapid hitch so you don't have to pay for shipping in the future. Other than that great product and I believe it will outlast me.
