Our cargo carrier is going to allow us to do two things. It's either going to allow us to carry more gear than we usually can inside of our car, or it's going to allow us to take the gear that we keep inside, put it outside, and free up space for passengers or pets. This is one of the larger carriers available.



Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Jeep Cherokee

Today on our 2016 Jeep Cherokee we're doing a test fit of the CURT 24 by 60 cargo carrier. That part number is C18152. Now we already have it secured to our vehicle. This is going to have a 500 pound weight capacity. We're going to start by taking a few measurements here. Ground clearance is going to be first.



Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Jeep Cherokee C18110

Today on our 2016 Jeep Cherokee, we're doing a test fit of the Curt 20 by 48 cargo carrier. That part number is C18110. Now, this has a 300-pound weight capacity and works with both 1 1/4-inch and 2-inch hitches. The first thing we're going to do while it's attached to our vehicle is take a few measurements. We're going to start off with our ground clearance to the bottom of this bolt here. We're going to have about 12 inches.



MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Jeep Cherokee

Today on our 2016 Jeep Cherokee we're doing a test fit of the Max Tow 48x21 Cargo Carrier. That part number is MT70422. This has a weight capacity of 500 pounds and works with 2-inch hitches only. While we have it on our vehicle, we're going to start off with a few measurements, ground clearance being first. We're going to have about 9 and 1/4 inches down there. Overall to our vehicle we're adding about 26 and 1/2 inches. Our pull-o-sis 00:00:38 point is going to be about 6 and 1/2 inches away there. Keep in mind that all these measurements may vary, depending on what style hitch you have. The next measurement that we'll do is our hatch. We're going to check that breakover point.



Carpod Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Jeep Cherokee

Today on our 2016 Jeep Cherokee we're doing a test fit of the Carpod walled cargo carrier. Those dimensions are 23 by 48. This has a weight capacity of 450 pounds and works with 2" hitches only. While we have it here on our vehicle we're going to start off with a few measurements. Our ground clearance is going to be first. To the bottom of our carrier here we're going to have about 15". Overall to our vehicle we are adding about 34".



Stromberg Carlson Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Jeep Cherokee

Today on our 2016 Jeep Cherokee we're doing a test fit of the Stromberg Carlson 23 by 47 Cargo Carrier. That part number is CC-100. This has a weight capacity of 500 pounds and works with 2 inch hitches only. The first thing we're going to do while it is on our vehicle is take a few measurements. We'll start off with our ground clearance. To the bottom of this bolt here we're going to have about 7 3/4 inches.
