Thule Passage Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - Hanging Style
Installation the first time was a bit tricky, but once we got it installed correctly subsequent installs went very smoothly. The rack is very sturdy and we were able to anchor the bikes so they had very little sway. If given a do-over, I would consider ordering a 3-bike rack to hold 2-bikes and have a little more "wiggle room" to position handlebars, seats, etc. --- but all in all this was a good purchase and is a very solid bike rack. I recommend an adapter bar if you have a women's style bike, and the security strap is always a good idea.
Product didn't fit my Jeep despite the website claiming it did. etrailer is trash and I will never do business with them or Thule again.

Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Fast Shipping by eTrailer and received in perfect order. Carrier goes together in about 10 minutes. Just adjust the wheel carriers to fit your bikes, tighten them down and your ready to go. Folds up or lays to the side and out of the way for the hatch on my 2012 Grand Cherokee. Over all a great bike carrier dollar for dollar compared to other much more expensive units.
First-time rack buyer / owner / installer. The rack arrived in a timely fashion, maybe a day or 2 ahead of schedule. It was well packaged. I’m LOVING this bike rack. It was easy to put together and to mount on my new Honda Passport. Thus far, no squeaks in my 2” receiver. Hardest part of initial set-up is figuring out the best way to position two bikes. Trial & error and some patience. The directions weren’t clear as to where the 2 left-over screws went. I found the answer in another review and have posted a pic in case others have the same problem (photo with pen pointing at screw). These screws go in the underneath side of both of the folding arms. They appear to keep the wheel wells from sliding off in case in you drive with an empty, un-folded rack, and forgot to tighten down the wheel wells. The folding arm push / pull pins can be difficult at times. I coated the tips with some lube. That and a little jiggling seems to solve that issue. I guess it’s better for the pins to be snug vs popping right out. I added a small Master lock to the hitch pin (in lieu of the provided cotter pin) as a theft deterrent. I read that a 3/16 shackle lock will fit into the bike clamp down arms to also act as a deterrent. I had an old 3/16 lock that did snugly fit and appeared to be locked. HOWEVER, I yanked on the lock and it came open as there isn’t quite enough clearance for the shackle to lock. I discovered that longer 3/16 shackle locks are hard to find. Have attached a photo of the lock that actually fits and works (Ace Hardware). One lock on the upper clamp down arm will secure both arms as the lower arm can’t be removed without removing the upper arm. The clamp down arms appear to be coated to prevent damage to your bike. I’ve tried a simple rag and ultimately settled on pool noodle pieces as a precautionary measure. I CAN NOT open my tailgate (regardless of whether or not the rack is fold up and in the bike carry position). If that’s a concern for you, then spring for the more costly titling version. My back-up camera still functions.

Fits perfectly and Etrailer upgraded my shipping for free! Very speedy delivery. Thanks!

Rhino-Rack Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Tilting
etrailer is a refreshing upgrade from many companies in terms of customer service. They actually make a personal phone call if there will be a delay in delivery - even if its only a couple of days (who does that anymore!). I've ordered trailer hitches, roof racks and this bike rack and every order has been more than satisfactory. A big plus with etrailer are the innumerable installation videos they have online which are a great help for a mechanical novice such as myself!
Extremely happy with the bike rack!! Very sturdy!! Went on with no problem

Swagman Chinook Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Truly grooving on my wife's new Swagman Chinook bike rack. She wanted to be able to transport her nice road bike easily without throwing it in the back of her car, and since a roof rack is out of the question, this Swagman model fit the bill perfectly. It arrived quickly on the anticipated date. Kudos to etrailer.com for the email updates to keep me informed of my purchase. Within one hour, it was installed on my wife's 2014 Mazda3 hatchback. The Swagman is heavy and solid, which is reassuring as it makes me feel confident that it will keep the bikes secure. It also makes me feel like I got my money's worth. A ratchet wrench and Phillip's head screwdriver were the only tools required for the easy install. I did my research before purchasing the Chinook model as I was also eyeballing a very similar Thule rack that was slightly more expensive. I spoke with an etrailer.com expert who gave me the lowdown on both models. Ultimately, the Swagman won out because it has a smaller 'footprint' while extended or folded up ... and also can tilt away from the car for easy access to the hatchback area. Very convenient! FYI: Mazda doesn't make a trailer hitch for the Mazda3 as it's a small car with a small engine and has no business towing anything. Thankfully, the Curt company makes an aftermarket frame and trailer hitch that fits the Mazda3 hatchback perfectly with no drilling. Stupidly, I purchased it from another online company thinking I was getting a good deal. Turns out etrailer.com had it for less with FREE shipping. Oh well ... live and learn. Now I know that etrailer.com is one-stop shopping for bike racks AND trailer hitches. (Full disclosure: I had the garage down the street install the frame as it's easier with a lift) Only snafu: the shipment contained an extra set of keys that I assumed was for the hitch bolt lock (there was also a set of keys on the bolt itself). I spent 15 minutes using those keys trying to figure out how to remove the lock from the bolt to install it on the hitch. The keys just wouldn't turn in the lock. I called etrailer.com and Kevin told me to try the other set of keys ... and they worked. So an extra set of keys came with it that did absolutely nothing ... weird! Obviously, I can't speak to the longevity and durability of the Swagman Chinook 2 Bike Platform Rack as I just installed it. What I can speak to is the sturdiness of it, the ease of the installation and my complete satisfaction with the good folks at etrailer.com.
I ordered the Swagman Chinook 2 Bike Platform Rack on line from etrailer and so far have been very satisfied. The bike rack was delivered in less than a week. Unpacking the rack and assembly was fairly straightforward. I have read some reviews that complained the assembly instructions were a bit vague. I didn't have a problem but can see where others without a mechanical background get confused. The rack is very sturdy, but there is some side to side play in the tilt mechanism. I'm not sure this can be avoided with a rack that folds down. Installing the Curt trunk stabilizing strap takes most of the sway out of the rack. Installation is fairly easy and quick. It takes me 6 - 7 minutes to install the back on my hitch, and to install the bike and be ready to drive away. That seems reasonable to me. So far I've only loaded 1 bike. I've included pictures of my installation on a 2014 Mercedes Benz E350 sedan. Clearance between the bikes, the rack and the car are good. With the bike loaded in the inside, most forward position, I have 6" clearance between the pedal and the bumper. With the bike removed, the center support folded flat and the rack folded up in the storage position, I have 4" clearance between the closest part of the bike rack (the fold down hinge assembly) and the back bumper of the car. I am able to open the trunk of the car without removing the bikes or using the tilt feature, but I do have to remove the stabilizing strap first. Overall, I'm very pleased with the bike rack and think it will serve me much better than my old strap on rack. Since the weather has been cool since getting the bike carrier, I haven't taken any long trips to give it a real workout.

Yakima HoldUp Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount
We have had this Yakima Holdup hitch bike rack for a year now and found it was shipped quickly, installed easily, and is handy to use on the back of our 2014 Grand Cherokee. We did have one bad screw head while assembling it and Yakima sent us a screw kit with no charge also quickly. No other problems. It seems to be quite heavy duty and should hold up well. The bikes are held on tight and do not sway. For this vehicle, you do have to tilt it back a little to open the tail gate. That has not been a problem. Label me a happy camper.
The Yakima Holdup 2 Bike Hitch Mount works as advertised and from the product instructions had absolutely no trouble with the installation on a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Summit. The mount is substantial, sturdy and simple. One comment for "etrailer.com"...DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING. The entire online experience was flawless. Your website was so easy, very informative and communication was "above and beyond" from searching, product research, explanations, ordering, email followups with order submitted, received, shipped, tracking (both on your site with a map of where the product currently is located and UPS tracking info) and delivery. I can't come up with any suggestions. I will definitely shop etrailer.com again...THANK YOU!!!

Swagman Trailhead Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
Just received this Bike Rack and we are very impressed. It was easy to assemble and fit onto our Jeep Grand Cherokee. The rack held our two bikes in place with very minimal movement. Also, I am very impressed with eTrailer. They shipped our online order almost immediately - and followed up with an e-mail asking if we had any questions or issues. I would highly recommend them.
Fast delivery. Product as advertised.

Yakima RidgeBack Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
I love this rack! Simple and easy to use. Rack or bicycles don't wiggle at all. Jeep Grand Cherokee with 2" receiver Easily hangs on garage wall with two vinyl coated ladder hooks
Check out my other review on the hidden hitch for a 2015 BMW 4 Series for the majority of the review, but this thing is great. Easy setup and install, does all the things it's supposed to do. Mounting and removing bikes is a snap with the included clips (big difference from some of the cheaper variants with nylon ratchet straps). Fits very snugly in my 2" receiver, and pretty solid on the highway and over bumpy roads.
RockyMounts Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have the RockyMounts AfterParty Swing Away bike rack. We're gonna take a look at how it fits on our 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. So the AfterParty is RockyMount's version of the Guide Rail, but with the Swing Away adapter included. So this is gonna be a full system that swings your bike rack out to get full access to your cargo area. So if you're a person that likes to maybe go tailgating or camping or you need to access your hatch, then this might be a good option for you. So let's start with that function.
Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Hey, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we have the Swagman XC2 Two-Bike Platform Rack. We'll take a look at how it fits our 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The XC2 is gonna be a very popular option because it's at a very affordable price point where you still get the stability of a platform rack without paying the usual platform rack prices. This is gonna be a very minimalistic bike rack, though, where you have your basic features and ideal for people that don't wanna spend extra for features they may not need. So all in all, this can carry a 35-pound bike, or two of them, actually. And then you have your basic wheel hoops and a frame mount.
Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have the Hollywood Racks Destination four bike platform rack. We're gonna take a look at how it fits on our 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. So the Destination four is actually one of my favorite bike racks to recommend for people just getting into the bike rack world because it's very versatile, it's very lightweight, it's very compact, and it can carry most types of bikes. Now it does have its downsides too where it has a 35 pound per bike weight capacity. So if you have a heavy electric bike, this might not be the best fit for you, but if you're looking for something that is not super duper large, but has the stability of a platform rack, this is a great option to look at. Now we are missing out on a feature here, which is gonna be the tilt away feature.
Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Hi, everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we have the Kuat Piston SR Single Bike Rack. We're gonna take a look at how it fits into the hitch of our 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. So this is gonna be the roof mounted version of the Kuat Piston. So it's a Piston SR with the hitch adapter. So we have this as a kit here at etrailer.com.
Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today, we'll be taking a look at our Yakima StageTwo two-bike platform rack here on our 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. So, the Yakima StageTwo is a pretty impressive bike rack. We have a really good weight capacity for your extra-heavy bikes, but you also have a compatibility with a bunch of different types of vehicles. So, whether you have, or your flat towing your Jeep Grand Cherokee or maybe if you wanna put this on your motorhome, when it's not on your Grand Cherokee, you can do so. So, we'll talk about those different specs and those different features, but we'll focus on our Grand Cherokee today to see what is the better fit for you, your different types of bikes and your vehicle.
Curt 2 Electric Bike Rack Review - 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee
What's up everybody Adam here with e-trailer. And today we're gonna be taking a look at the Curt hitch mounted bike rack on a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. So this is gonna be for your electric bikes. So we're gonna be able to accommodate for bikes up to 65 pounds. So we're really good for your electric bikes. It's gonna be good for your carbon fiber frame bikes.
Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack Review - 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee
What's going on everybody, Adam here with etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Ford Rider SE2 for electric bikes on our 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. If you have an inch and a quarter or a two inch hitch that is a class two or higher, we're going to be able to put the Sport Rider SE2 into the hitch be able to carry two heavy bikes, it's about 80 pounds per bike. So if you have two electric bikes, or two fat tire bikes, it's gonna work for that, we can put it on pretty much anything that doesn't have a hitch in between your vehicle that's driving, and whatever you're putting this on, meaning no fifth wheel trailers, no travel trailers, but we can't put it on a motorhome if you have one of those. One feature I really look for in bike racks is the ability to tilt with the bikes installed, so you don't have to mess with taking all the bikes off just to get into the back hatch. So to do that, we have a little pin down low and it is gonna need to be lifted up a little bit to get that pin out.
Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee BA22B-BA02B
Zack: Hey guys, Zack 00:00:01 here at etrailer.com and today we're going to be taking a look at the Kuat NV 2.0 four bike base style bike rack on our 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. This is going to be one of the largest bike racks that we offer, has really good capacity. I think it's one of the best looking bike racks, and I just like the way the Kuat bike racks function. I think they're some of the smoothest operating ones. And I personally think this one looks a lot better than the NV 2.0, the regular style one. Those look really sharp, but I just think that the matte black finish on this looks really good on the back of vehicles.

Today on our 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee we're doing a test fit of Thule roadway hanging style 2 bike rack. That part number is TH912XTR. So, when we need to remove those, we just pull down and lift up and we save that anti sway strap for last. We simply pull our bike off. Now, that anti sway straps going to keep a lot of shake and play out of the bike as your heading down road.

Today on our 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Rhino Rack Mountain Trail Rooftop Mountain Bike Rack, part number RBC035. First thing we are going to do is set it up on top of the vehicle and slide the straps underneath of our crossbar like so and before we start strapping that one down we're going to slide one bolt and one wing nut on the one side of our rear crossbar, as you can see the other side is going to have the bolt with the plate in place and a wing nut. Let's go ahead and tighten down the front one. First thing we're going to need to do is remove the cover like so and then we're going to grab our allen tool, slide the straps in and then we'll tighten that up and you can see that plate is going to pull it back as we screw this in tightening up the straps underneath. All right once we have that tight and secure, we're going to place that cover back over the top like so and click it into place and that does lock and secure as well. Next we'll move to the backside, remove the wing nut on the one with just the bolt, place the bracket with the hole on it over the top of the bolt and then we'll start threading it back on. All right once we have it started, we'll go ahead and thread that one up. Now we'll just get it up to right where it is underneath of the rear crossbar and then we're going to center it and then thread them both up evenly.
