Looks great very heavy for its size. Machining work is excellent and the finish is flawless. I hate to get it dirty. I have a convert a ball set I have used for years and has worked well for me, but now that I have gone to a 3/4 ton GMC I needed a longer drop and always had an issue with the tounge height of different trailers. Now I don't have to even think about trailer weight with the 18,000 lb tow capacity this hitch has. My only issue is I should have gone with the 6" drop instead of the 8" drop, but that is my fault. I also recommend getting the lock pins,which I didn't, and plan on doing. It would be very appealing to some low life that would probably never have any use for it. I highly recommend this hitch even if you never use it. Just nice to look at.

Looks amazing, came as advertised with quick shipping. Super easy to adjust for different balls and heights. No more swapping out receivers when I go from 2" to 2-5/8 tongues. Would have gotten 5 stars if a hitch pin was included, especailly at this price point. Interested to see how it holds up over time.

Went with the B&W due to the length of the shaft going into the receiver. My 2024 Ram's receiver is recessed under the bumper. This hitch is long enough to accept my Towtector product. Similar to Rock Tamers. Also, Brittany in customer service was awesome to work with as she guided me towards the product that worked for my application.

This ball mount is extremely heavy duty. I had a stock class IV hitch and aftermarket ball mount on my Ram 3500 SRW and it was bending towing a 14000 lb dump trailer. I upgraded to a class V hitch and this mount and it's working great. I have 6 trailers that I pull with gooseneck, 5th wheel and ball hitches. The only 1 that uses 1 7/8" ball is a little 5x8 utility trailer that I'm converting to 2" so I got the 2 ball instead of the 3. When turned sideways it works as a step to get into the truck but only if the tailgate is up. It doesn't stick out far enough when the tailgate is open. The reason for 1 less star is the documentation; you need more information to make the best choice. I originally ordered a different PN and it hung way too low bc is mounted under the existing hitch. To remove the stock hitch, you also remove the integrated mounting brackets for the bumper. I ordered a PN for a truck without a hitch and cut off the receiver tube with a torch. Also, I upgraded the 3 1/2" exhaust to 4" and now at idle the exhaust rattles on the much larger frame of the class V but a slight modification in planned to take care of that. Installation was fairly straighforward once I removed the original receiver tube.

This forged ball mount was not machined flat around mounting hole. I had to grind a flat surface for proper fit.

Well packaged, arrived quickly and fit like a glove! If you have the split tailgate from GMC, this is the hitch to buy.

Design is great and can use the multi pro tailgate but the "highest" setting is still a drop rendering the hitch about worthless for many deckover trailers even with the receiver moved all the way down on the trailer. Truck used is a 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 AT4X so I imagine it would be even worse on most other trucks.

I've used the hitch over the last year on several trailers and loads. The adjustability made towing a much better feel and ride over a fixed hitch that at times not the greatest. I see no wear, very easy to adjust even once coupled to the trailer and finding the trailer needs to be leveled better.

Works flawlessly. I was very excited the day I got home and my Rapid hitch was on the front porch. It came in nice box and was packaged very well. I opened it up and unpacked my rapid hitch and I was very impressed with the quality and precision of this hitch. All of the machining was PERFECT and everything fit together right. I put it in my truck right away. Going down the road with the trailer on and off there is absolutely no rattles, clunks, or jolts. I also love how everything is aluminum or stainless steel, NO RUST. I wish I could've gotten the greaseless model but my boat is too heavy. My only complaint is that it doesn't come with locking pins. With a hitch this expensive I really wish it came with them. Do yourself a favor and order them with your rapid hitch so you don't have to pay for shipping in the future. Other than that great product and I believe it will outlast me.

What else can be said about Reese tow products... Top notch heavy duty 3-way ball is the best on the market in my own personal opinion. You wont be dissatisfied with this product. Very well built.

My newer Chevy K3500 has a 2 1/2 inch square receiver so I was able too get rid of my 2" ball mount that was almost too heavy to lift and replace it with a new Reese tri- ball mount with a 14,000 lb Gross towing capacity and weighs less than 12 pounds. My third one of these, I feel they help take shock out of towing. Just bought a extra one instead of changing balls all the time.

I own a couple of these in different drops and really prefer them over solid mounts. The cushioning does help protect the driveline of the tow vehicle and removes the harshness sometimes related to towing a trailer. Not cheap but well worth it to me.

It now makes it so I can pull anything except a 5th wheel. It will make it great on the ranch.

This is a heavy duty combo pintle / ball mount. It is replacing one that failed at the welds. Since this is a solid piece with no welds I expect many years of use.

You're not going to find a better looking hitch on the market. Adjusts with ease as described. Tow and stow feature is a must have. Fast shipping.

Just received this mount and did the test fit with our trailer. We have not hit the road with it yet but I am confident it will perform perfectly. I am anxious to see how the cushioned feature works. We pull a box cargo trailer for business and just got a new Chevy HD pickup to tow with. It has a 2.5" receiver and hitch height is much greater than the Suburban we were using plus it had a 2" receiver. This mount is rated for far more weight than we will ever need but it was the only 2.5" size with 6" drop that I could find. We are very pleased with the product and the excellent customer service we got at etrailer. These hitches are the best! And I scanned the world over to find only hitches that are made in USA like I do every product I buy. This is a very ingenious design that allows some shock absorption that greatly quiets any trailering. I bought two full hitches one for each ball size so that I would never have to change ball again! Great product!

Very happy with the hitch. Looked FOREVER all over for details when I got my new to me 2017 Ram 2500. This truck sits so dang high off the ground (4x4) I was worried about getting the proper range of drop for my different trailers. I used my 7x14 utility trailer as my baseline as it rides the lowest. From ground to bottom of my ball coupler is approx 16in. From ground to top of my hitch receiver is approx 25in. On the lowest setting my trailer sits ever so slightly nose totally empty. Check the pic with level. Once loaded I'm confident it will ride very nice. Plus I have all the range to move up for my taller trailers. Super beefy, seems well built, and I picked up the locking pins to go with. Etrailer as always had a great price and I've been ordering from them for years.
