Today on our 2014 Ford F-150, we're going to do a test fit of the Darby Extend-a-truck Hitch-mounted load extender, part number is DTA944. We already have it on our vehicle. I'd like to just show you a few features of it. In this position, see this is level, pretty much with the cab of your truck. It also has the tie-downs, so if you wanted to tie anything down. Let's say if you needed to put any PCV pipes, ladders, lumber, or even a Kayak or a canoe, you could actually set it on top, tie down to here, and it would be better for you if you have any roof rack on there, also.



MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Ford F-150

Today on our 2014 Ford F150 we've got out the MaxxTow 21 by 48 aluminum cargo carrier. Now this carrier is going to have a capacity of 500 pounds. They've designed it for use with 2" hitches. The part number on it is MT70422. This is a very nice lightweight carrier. Really easy to get in the car, easy to get installed.



Stromberg Carlson Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Ford F-150

Today on our 2014 Ford F150 we've got out the Stromberg Carlson 23 by 48 cargo carrier. This carrier has got a capacity of 500 pounds and it's been designed for use in 2" hitches. Part number on it is CC-100. Now this is going to have some of the larger expanded steel that you'll see, so even larger items, rocks, dirt, debris, should be able to fall right down through there without it building up on top of the carrier. Got a nice raised edge that goes all the way around the outside. It's going to be about 2-3/4" off of our platform.

The part number on it is C18150. Carrier's going to offer a medium-size expanded steel floor here. Plenty of room for dirt, debris, and moisture to fall down and out rather than building up on top of our carrier.

Today on our 2014 Ford F150 we're test fitting the Detail K2 20 by 60 folding carrier. Now they've designed this to use with 2" hitches. It's going to offer a 500 pound weight capacity. Part number on it is K2HCC602. Now we've loaded this down with a hundred pounds to give you an idea how it's going to move and shake as you're going down the road. Going to have a little bit of noise out of it and a little bit of movement.

It's been designed for use in 2" hitches and it's going to offer a 300 pound capacity. Part number on it is HCR222. Now we've got 150 pounds loaded on it now. As you can see, this is a nice stable rack.

Today on our 2014 Ford F150 we're test fitting the CURT 24 by 60 folding cargo carrier. Now they've designed this for use in 2" hitches. It offers a 500 pound weight capacity. Part number on it is C18153. Now this cargo carrier is secured using a hitch pin and clip. We've loaded it down with a hundred pounds to give you an idea of the movement or noise you might have as you're heading down the highway.
