Thule Hitching Post Pro Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches
Great quality Product... easy installation.. Shipping was really quick got everything in 3 days. Purchase a trailer hitch and the bike trail rack to carry the whole family on biking adventures in the 2019 Honda Odyssey
We like it, it does the job. There is definitely some cons though: It is a challenge to get the peg lined up on the bottom when you are attaching the bike rack to the hitch. We have to lay on the ground. It is a two man job. It has to be very precise and it can be very frustrating. It has also been a challenge to get 4 bikes on the bars. The issue falls mostly with the kids bikes the bars are to small to put the bars between them, so then you have to find other ways to secure them safely. We take it on and off when we are done with it, since we don't use it regularly. It is a time consuming job to get the rack on and get the bikes on it. I wouldn't do it every day.

Curt Bike Rack for 5 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Tilting
I haven't officially used this product, however I have put it on my van and here is my first impression. Overall the product is strong. The only 3 things that I can see is a problem. If you have kids with training wheels, this product wouldn't work. Bikes are to close together for training wheels. If your adult bike has a little curve or the cross bar is large, you will have a little trouble putting it on. The next thing is the bolt that allows you to access the rear hatch is a pain. How they have it set up, you need a wrench to take the bolt out just to get into the rear hatch.
I'm still totally happy with this rack after a year. It is so nice to be able to open the back hatch (Honday Odyssey) without removing everything.

Swagman XTC4 Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Solid trailer, not too difficult to put together. After putting it together I took a 100 mile trip with four bikes and it worked great. Two tips from others helped. I installed in "on the car" (and was able to do it by myself) and I took some time to put the bikes in the order we would always load it (with our current four bikes), essentially "setting" the wheel holders to the exact bike. Great product and great price.
Great quality, awesome price I ordered this on etrailer Feb 1st, got the delivery on Feb 8th. Perfect packing. The product was very easy to assemble. There were finally 4 small screws that I was not clear what to do with. Called etrailer and they clearly told me where the screws go. The rack is built strong, really good quality. I was actually surprised to see such great quality at less than half the price of a Thule or Yakima. Overall the product is easy to use. Yes it has some quirks like when you fold the center rachet arm, the cotter pin to hold it in place is sometimes hard to push in. Not a big deal but something that swagman can improve on. Also one other key point is the total dimension of this rack. I have a Honda Odyssey and with 4 bikes mounted on the rack, it takes about 3-3.5 feet of space at the back (juts out). A thule T2 or Yakima hold up for 4 bikes will be close to 5.6-6 feet. The swagman has a great advantage in reducing vehicle sway and drag. As with anything this comes with a drawback that you need to play around and figure out the best positions for the bikes. Again not a big deal, one time job of 10 mins. Overall I am very happy with the bike rack and even more happy with etrailer. I will be coming to etrailer for all my future rack, hitch needs.

Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
I have been using this hitch daily for about 3 weeks. Installation was straight-forward and I had no problems getting it on my 2015 Honda Odyssey. The unit is solid and the amount of sway is minimal. In addition to the rack, I also purchased the Locking Anti-Rattle Threaded hitch pin (S64029). It works fine as well. I did not order the cable that goes with it because of some other reviews I read, but I think I will be ordering the cable shortly. My wife's bike required the use of an Alternate Frame Bike adapter (64005), which I also purchased and it works well. My only suggestion is put additional protective wrap around the frame where the bike is secured on top. I went to the local hardware store and purchased a length of pipe insulation, and then cut it to size. It adds additional protection to reduce scratches and wear on the frame. This was an idea presented in other reviews. I researched a number of other racks, including Thule, and I think this is the best rack for the money. I would recommend this rack to anyone.
This rack it nice and decently made. Really easy to use as long as you use the same bikes in same positions every time. The one thing I was surprised at was very few reviewers if any mentioned that the three bolts that serve to allow the 3 arms to pivot are just simple carriage bolts with regular nuts on the end. All I needed was an adjustable wrench and I the middle arm off in a few seconds. That would mean your bikes are gone even it you use padlocks in the ratchet arms. Seems kind of stupid to use a padlock and key when all a thief really needs is and adjustable wrench. I guess I will take a chisel and damage the extend portion of the bolt threads to make this a little harder from someone to undo the nuts. It really is a weak spot that should be addressed. I am actually thinking a decent cable lock running through the bikes, rack and secured to the car hitch might be more secure than a locking hitch bolt and 2 padlocks for the ratchets. Or perhaps a combination of all the above. As expected Etrailer's service and shipping were excellent.

Swagman Trailhead Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
Quick and reliable shipping and was able to take to my mechanic to get it installed and it works perfectly with my bike rack!
This is a very solid product! I have used it for over a year now and love it! I have had up to 3 bikes on this without a problem and have traveled over 8 hours in the car one way with absolutely no issues. Many other bike racks like this one that I see on other cars look unstable this is not unstable in anyway. I did have to file some of the paint off of the rack to get it to fit in my 1 and 1/4" hitch but once that was done it has been perfect. I also bought the locking hitch bolt which is awesome too.

Swagman XC2 Bike Rack for 2 bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
We received the bike rack very quickly and efficiently...the order and shipment process included emailed updates and it was here in 5 days. I installed it on my 2010 Honday Odyssey easily. Out of the box and on the car in less than 45 minutes. Instructions were easy to follow and all parts were there. We used the rack this weekend to go biking. It works as advertised-- easy to install and use, take on and off and also tilt to access cargo bay of van. The price I got on the rack was $50 lower than any store nearby plus it was in stock with etrailer. Free shipping included. I highly recommend this product and also etrailer as a company. Altogether a pleasant experience.
It works great! Easy, quick, you know. One needs to screw in the hitch bolt, for some reason, before latching it. Other than that, it makes going bike riding way easier.

Swagman XP Bike Rack for 5 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Tilting
Purchased this after reading some of the other reviews and Q&A on etrailer - i hadn't thought about the fact that how the crossbars on the bike are configured makes a difference - 3 of our 5 bikes wouldn't have fit on a two bar bike rack because the openings are two small (I ended up measuring them before selecting a rack). I still ended up having to use the adapter for one of them which works great. Installation was easy (I had uhaul put a receiver hitch on my 2012 odyssey the week before) - you do have to pull a pin on the bottom of the rack when you tilt it, which some might consider an inconvenience compared to some of the other brands that just have release levers, but i view it as less stuff to break compared to those racks. If you're going to have it on a lot and park in a garage, consider the fact that it doesn't collapse because it does add significant length to the vehicle. 5 bikes are definitely doable if you set it up correctly. I think its the most versatile rack you can get based on the way it holds the bikes and would definitely recommend.
I will describe the few issues first: 1) the bike rack does not fold down. It tilts away from the car, but it doesn’t fold down when in use. So, the giant bar is always sticking out from your vehicle unless you remove the hitch. 2) the weight limit is 100 lbs total. For 5 bikes, this is typically NOT enough. My kids bikes (20”) are 20 lbs each, my bike is 30 lbs. 3) cross check the price. Prices from Swagmans own site are better than listed here. So I did price match. The construction is sturdy enough and the clasps look good, but we returned for the first two issues above.

Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount - Tilting
Received the unit and installed it on the 2014 Honda Odyssey, no issues with the the install. Test fitted bike's (3) and drove around the neighborhood, so far it seems to be good. Will advise and update the rating on the first trip. NOTE ** it did take 2 months to get this unit, etrailer did keep me updated with the status. I understand with parts issues as bike parts are hard to find and also on backorder.
WOW WOW WOW That is what I just kept saying after installing this Saris bike rack. I have been looking for a bike rack for almost 3-4 months now. Thule and Yakima didn't have what I was looking for. Their solution for a 4-5 bike rack is too complicated, not efficient, and it would be a nightmare to manage on a regular basis. So I couldn't get myself to pull a trigger on any of those and I kept searching. Finally, I came to eTrailer and found out about Saris. That is where the love starts :) We are a family of 5 (3 kids and 2 grown-ups). I needed something that will help me load bikes fast, unload them and still be able to have access to the back of my Toyota Sequoia. Saris delivered in every way. Assemble of the item is straight forward. Instructions are clear and to the point. They even give you a yellow strip that helps you mark where the hitch needs to be in order to align hole openings for easier installation after you install it the first time ;) The back-up camera is still usable but not 100%. Tilting down the rack with the bikes on it is simple as 1-2-3. There is plenty of room left between the trunk door and the bike as you can see on the pictures. One HUGE benefit is that you do not need any extra parts for kids bikes. Not like with other brands. Saris delivers tremendously on this part too. No shaking, rattling, or anything that would make you notice that you have this amazing product on the back of your SUV/truck. I can't recommend it more. I am just surprised that this product has not been more advertised and represented compared to other products.

Hollywood Racks Road Runner Bike Rack for 5 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Tilting
So, one year in, this works well for the price. I have successfully hauled around 5 bikes a couple times now including a couple vacations. Bikes got there securely despite 4+ hours of driving at interstate speeds, including one harrowing stretch on bumpy roads with 70 mph speed limits (wow Texas, seriously?) where the car got significant amounts of "air" at random intervals. Getting the bikes on and off is still a major pain. I had to buy the adapter for 3 womens/children's bikes. My own full size mountain bike barely fits on, too, the pitch between the bars seems a bit challenging and requires me to contort the bike dramatically to get it on and off. If you are trying to actually get 5 bikes on here, figuring out the bike handle tetris game is not easy. Will take you a bit. It still takes me ~15 min to load 5 bikes up every time. On short trips I sometimes skip the tiedown through all the bike wheels and it's fine, although I wouldn't do it for long trips. My biggest regret here is not buying one where the rack will pivot out to allow access to the rear minivan hitch with the bikes attached -- this means this is the last thing to pack in the car and the first thing you unpack, every time on vacation. It requires planning and forethought. The rack does fold down nicely which we used extensively on vacation once the bikes were unpacked, just don't drive around that way. On my Honda minivan the bottom of this sags a bit when fully loaded with bikes, to the extent I scrape hard every time exiting my slightly inclined driveway. We found a few other low spots along our way, from restaurants to other businesses, that resulted in similar cringe-inducing moments. We drove it on the beach quite a bit, after a healthy wash with the pressure washer there is some mild rusting where the handles rotate, but the rack is otherwise in good shape.
Bought several bike racks and trailer hitches from etrailer. They followed up to make sure all was good. I would highly recommend buying from them. Good people and they care about the customer!
