I did have an issue with power to my lights but after watching one of your video instructions, I realized that I needed to purchase some additional in cab wiring that was shipped promptly. This is a great trailer hitch! Super easy to install and came with everything I needed to hook it up to my Nissan Frontier in just a few minutes with no welding. My one issue was that when it arrived it was somewhat bowed in at the ends and didn't fit at first. I had to stomp on it a little bit to get the wings to get back in alignment. I presume this happened from rough handling in transit. Something etrailer could do is put some kind of brace in the packaging to prevent it from bending.

The Curt hitch arrived in perfect condition. I didn't have an extra pair of hands so I zip-tied it to my floor jack and lifted it into place under my Nissan Frontier, installed the six bolts, torqued to specs, and viola! All done. I meant to take a picture of the hitch mounted on my floor jack before I installed it but forgot... sorry. I'm very pleased with my purchase and the free shipping on such a heavy item was a big bonus.

We sold our small motor home and purchased a small travel trailer. This hitch provided a perfect solution to how to use our bike rack while towing the trailer. It even allows room for the pickup tailgate to be lowered without removing the bikes from the rack. The hitch is very hefty with a high weight limit - plenty for the GVW of the trailer (7,000#) plus 125# of rack and bikes.

This extended hitch ball mount fit my 2004 Nissan Frontier perfect. After I installed my new hidden hitch I was worried because it was so far back underneath the truck. I thought I would have trouble finding a hitch mount that would extend out past the bumper. The straight part comes to the end of the bumper and only the drop down part sticks out, making it a perfect fit. Also, the drop is perfect for my small 4 x 8 trailer.

Very happy with this ball mount - provides just the amount of drop we required for a level tow of our GeoPro travel trailer by our RAM2500. Plus, the extra length not only allows a tighter turning radius, but also allows us to lower the truck tailgate without having to detach the trailer. Recently bought a Kubota RTV x900. The receiver is located under the bed. With the extra long ball hitch drawbar I can easily get to the drawbar and use a clevis to hitch my 5ft. wide mower or attach a ball and use the trailer. The pictures will illustrate the length of the drawbar which makes access very easy. The product is heavy duty and well made. This is really nice. Beveled edges so it slips into receiver hitch so sweet. Beautiful welds heavy weight mount for my weigh safe ball. I bought a 10,000 lbs hitch and I wanted a draw bar with the same type rating. Now the only thing limiting my trailer capacity is my truck's ability to tow, not the hitch, bar or ball.

This is the second cushioned ball mount I have ordered. Due to the different hitch heights on my vehicles, I needed a 2" drop on my new Nissan Frontier. So now I have a 2" and a 4" drop ball mount. These work great, they eliminate the harsh slamming and jerking you often get when stopping and taking off. They definitely smooth out the impact the trailer has on a vehicle, especially if the trailer is loaded with any weight. A good friend recommended the cushioned ball mount to me and I have not regretted buying it. I won't use anything else now on my vehicles.

My usage of your hitch is a bit unusual, I think. I pull a two ton roller with my Ram and I've used your cushioned hitch to smooth out the process. The roller Lunette just dropped over a 2" ball and then banged and jerked on the ball neck. Check out the photos for my adaptation.. I can flip it over and use the 2" ball! Have enclosed some photos. The hitch I ordered came very quickly. I was able to track it and I pretty much knew when it would be at my door step. The hitch was more then I expected Heavy Duty. Awesome quality and more features then I realized. The fit was perfect. I will be using the hitch on a front mount receiver on my 2014 Silverado.

I haul a 5.5x10 open trailer w/ a 900 lb. ZTR, a push mower, and a handful of other tools 3 days a week. It is what it is. It does the job, no problem. A little finish wear and rust on the ball, but nothing major. I LIVE ON A DIRT ROAD, which is probably responsible for the wear.
