Thule Roof Bike Racks Review - 2005 Toyota Prius

Today on our 2005 Toyota Prius, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Paceline Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part number TH527. We'll begin our test fit by placing the rack on top of our vehicle. The rack on our vehicle today is the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System. So the first thing we'll need to do is open the nose and then the back lever, and that's going to drop this T bolt down, allowing us to get it out from under our clamp. We'll fit that over our crossbar, and then you'll want to get that T bolt back underneath there just like it was before, and we'll test to see how tight it is. This cams over and brings that T bolt up. There should be some resistance, but it shouldn't be too easy.
