Will the Thule OutWay 3 Bike Carrier - Trunk Mount TH56BV fit a 2009 Outback and 2005 Prius?

The Thule OutWay, # TH56BV, will fit the 2005 Toyota Prius, but it will not fit a 2009 Subaru Outback. At this time, there are no trunk mount bike rack options for a 2009 Subaru Outback Wagon.
For the Outback, I recommend a trailer hitch and hitch mount bike rack. If it is not a Sport model, I recommend Hidden Hitch trailer hitch # 87446. This is a Class III trailer hitch that will allow many options in the way of bike racks. The most popular 3 bike rack is # S63360.
If you have a Sport model with single exhaust, you will need # C11315. This is a Class I hitch and so it will be limited to certain bike racks and only 2 bikes. I recommend the Trailhead, # S63360. It fits a Class I hitch and holds 2 bikes. You would also need a stabilization strap, # 18050, for the hitch warranty requirements.
