Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit
Great kit! Installed this on my 1995 Jayco Fifth Wheel and it really improved the ride height with my truck. It’s been on 2 round trips from Texas to Montana since and many other trips locally with no issues.
Our trailer was so low...that it could not make it up a low curb and some driveways - especially when fully loaded. Went with the Dexter axle flip kit. The Dexter bracket and base plate pieces are worth the extra $20-$30 compared to other similar kits - they make fitment easier, eliminate any guesswork on placement, and decrease installation time because of it. Took 2-3 relaxed pace hours for us to do single axle install. Tools required were ratchet/wrench set (13/16 deep socket worked for us for most of the bolts), cheater bar (for working those rusty bolts off), drill, angle grinder (cutter disc for oem u-bolts and leaf spring bolts that are rusted or welded in place, stripper disc for cleaning area around new bracket for welding) welder, floor jack and jack stands. We had to remove the leaf springs, as the wheel mount brackets would not fit through the openings. Was hoping we wouldn’t have to, but it was pretty simple to do. We jacked the trailer up. Removed the wheels. Removed the axle. Cleaned the axle area where new brackets go. Set the height and placement of the new Dexter brackets. We left the OEM brackets on the axle and placed the Dexter ones in the exact same position 180 degrees on the other side. Welded them on. Reinstalled leaf springs. Reinstalled axle, reinstalled wheels. Then voila! We added 6 full inches of height. Super awesome.

U-Bolt Kit for Mounting 3,500-lb, Round Trailer Axles - 5-1/2" Long U-Bolts
These did not fit my 3500 lb axle. It has been very difficult determining the correct size U-Bolts for my axle. It appears etrailer does not carry the size I need.
It is exactly as described. It seems solid. I also ordered the springs, and they appear to be solid as well. I look forward to continuing to do business with etrailer due to quality parts AND great customer service from the likes of Shawnee and the crew. Thank you!!!

U-Bolt Kit for Mounting 2,000-lb, Round Trailer Axles - 4-1/4" Long U-Bolts
after one year axle is very very rusty as well as the hangers and hubs, not sure why but not happy with the price vs quality of product
I purchased this kit for the standard 5' x 8' 2,000 lb. trailer from Lowes. I did an axle flip and added larger tires. This is the perfect kit for this trailer. It went on easy, and the bolts were slightly longer. Also the bolts in this kit were fine thread instead of course thread. Overall an improvemet over the factory hardware and I had no issues. Shipped in a timely manner and packaged well. I highly recommend this kit if you plan on flipping the axle or need a replacement.

Single-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit for Double-Eye Springs - 3-1/4" Front, 1-1/4" Rear
Bought this to replace the shackle links and hardware for an existing aluminum trailer, did not use the brackets. Bolt shafts are "flared" on the inside head end so you need a press to push them into the bracket. Otherwise, you need to crank down the nuts as you install them to seat the bolts properly.
Good kit with the necessary parts to replace leaf spring suspension. I welded the hangers rather than bolting them. The parts are not coated for the price point so you will need to paint them or they will rust immediately.

Wet Equalizer Bolt with Locknut and Grease Zerk for Double-Eye Springs - 3" Long
The wet bolts were just fine. But the "locking nuts" with the crimped edges were aweful. The 3 dimples each nut has were not useful. Many of the nuts I could use my fingers to spin them on the bolts. Never had locking pressure. I ended up going to local hardware store for much better locking nuts.
I used these "wet" bolts on my leaf spring change out. I ended up using 3 per equalizer since that seems to be the location of most of the movement during axle travel and a friends 5th wheel had 3 installed on the factory set up, so that is what I went with. I painted a yellow mark on the head of the bolt in reference to the grease hole in the shaft, so that I could install them in the direction of "least resistance" when greasing them later, after reading how some guys have to relieve pressure on their trailer in order to get the bolts to take grease. I used Mystik 6 grease mixed with anti seize when putting everything together, then gave them 2 shots of Mystik 6 after installation. (I chose Mystik 6 because we always had good results with that grease when I was in the aircraft industry and it doesn't was out.) I did notice that the grease zerks did allow grease to return out of the fitting which means the spring behind the ball isn't doing its job. That is why I rated them as "good". There are different ways to install these due to the knurled shoulder. If you have access to an impact gun you can just tighten them in with that. Pulls the knurl right in to the shackle. Overall I like the idea of having a suspension that can be greased.

Single-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit for Double-Eye Springs - 1-1/2" Front, 7/8" Rear
This is a great kit! It included everything we needed to replace the old, worn-out brackets on our 6'x10' trailer. The directions were helpful and the brackets and hardware are nice and solid. We've had zero issues with the leaf springs (purchased on etrailer.com, also) or the brackets. Would definitely recommend!
Excellent, had everything I needed and more for my trailer. Everything fit well!

Torflex Lift Kit - Tandem Axle - 2-5/8" Lift
The package arrived quickly as they said it would. I installed it as per the instructions and the job was easy. My Trail Lite Camper trailer has tandem axles so it was easy to just drive one set of axles up on ramps and install the lift kit on the hanging axle with the trailer hooked to the truck with the brakes locked on the truck. Anyhow, this lift kit was easy to install and did the job of raising the rear of the trailer from 14" to 18" after installation. Everything fit perfectly thanks to talking with Alex of etrailer.com and getting the right kit for my Dexter #10 Torflex axles. Attached are some pictures of before the install, during and after the install. I'm very satisfied. FYI the project goes a lot faster if you have an electric or pneumatic impact wrench to remove the old rusted mounting bolts and installing the new bolts.
I got these for my 1998 Trail-et gooseneck 2 horse trailer after we upgraded from a 1994 truck to a 2023. The new truck is much taller so I needed to lift the trailer. This kit was perfect, all of the holes lined up perfectly and it gave me the height I needed. The hardest part was cutting the old bolts off the trailer.

Lippert Bolt-On Shock Kit w/ Heavy Duty Gas Shocks - 3,500-lb (2-3/8") Axle
My small dumping trailer was bouncing and swaying all over the place. After installing this shock kit, it follows along like a dream. A more than worthwhile investment. Easy to install, great customer service. Thanks!!!
Not a trailer, but... We needed a set of shocks for a three-wheeled motorcycle truck conversion for our resort/farm in upper Thailand. I had to pack it in my luggage for the trip over. The vehicle came with no shocks on the back axle and the ride was really bad. This kit, with a bit of modification, really did the job and the ride is now significantly better in terms of smoothness and handling. Shocks were a bit long, but it worked out OK.

Shackle Bolt with Locknut for Double-Eye Springs - 3" Long
I needed it quickly because on stripped on my trailer and we were getting ready to leave the state in our Wold Pup. I paid for the extra shipping and they got out and to me in 2 days. Thank you.
These are the exact bolts used by the manufacturer of my trailer. I had a spring break after 10yrs use, so am replacing the springs and all the bolts at the same time, thank you to etrailer for the springs (ordered earlier) and now the bolts/nuts, all arrived quickly and accurately, you are my first choice for all trailer parts for my 7 trailers, thank you and keep up the good work!

Torflex Lift Kit - Single Axle - 2-5/8" Lift
The trailer is a Palomino Solaire 147x. Installation was straightforward. The lift in combination with taller wheels and tires accomplished the desired ride height.
Can you believe that etrailer asks for reviews after a year? That's confidence in their products! The Torflex Life Kit for my 2014 Casita 17 Deluxe Independence has worked great. I no longer drag going through dips and up my steep driveway.

Torflex Lift Kit - Tandem Axle - 2-7/8" Lift
I think the lift kit is a very stout piece of hardware. I'll be installing it on Friday on an Airstream camper. Will give an update on how well it fits after the install. I gave 4 stars because the packaging could be better - almost lost some bolts or nuts. The delivery person had to tape it all up - must have fallen in travel and busted open.
I ordered this kit in mid-May after seeing an email about it from a competitor site to etrailer.com. I ordered from the other site then got an email stating that the kit was on back order from Dexter until the end of June. I googled the Dexter part number and found that etrailer.com also sold it, and even better, etrailer was offering free freight and a slightly lower cost. Since the kit is heavy, free freight would save me about $40, so I cancelled the order with the first company and re-ordered from etrailer.com. I got an email from them as well about the extended back order but then, I also got a follow up call from them explaining the situation. The call was an extra added touch that I appreciated. Then, right at the end of May, I got an email stating that my Dexter kit had shipped, so I figured that etrailer.com must have put some pressure on Dexter to get off their butt and ship it! The kit itself was great, really well made parts, powder coated and heavy gauge. Honestly, I am surprised that they sell it for only $150. The install is tricky and will take you 6 hours if you are good with tools and like wrenching. Don't attempt this project on your own if you are not. Pay a trailer guy $400 to do it. You have to keep the axles aligned when you drop them...and the bolt placement is not great so you have to have hands that can fit in the tight cramped space and be able to get a wrench on the. Over all, I am very happy with the lift, it was a pretty simple and cost effective way for me to get better clearance for my Airtsream.....Airstreams are notoriously low and with the approach I have from my street to the driveway, I constantly battled dragging either the hitch or the rear. This kit solved that. I am super satisfied and highly recommend it if you are in the same situation as I was. Buy it from etrailer.com, they have the best customer service I have experienced when buying trailer and camping items on the internet.

Curved Equalizer for 1-3/4" Wide Double-Eye Springs - 6-1/4" Long - 3/4" Center Hole
Purchased replacement springs, equalizers, shackles and all the needed hardware to put it all together for my tandem axle boat trailer. While I was trying to figure out all the parts I needed on-line, I made a couple calls to etrailer's customer service and they were awesome! Parts arrived quickly and are exactly what I needed. I put together one of the spring / equalizer / spring set-ups and placed it on the trailer frame to confirm fit. Perfect! Looking forward to swapping all the parts out this weekend. And I'll be shopping with etrailer again soon to get a trailer hitch for my new Durango! Thanks etrailer!

Wet Equalizer Bolt with Castle Nut, Grease Zerk and Cotter Pin - 3-1/2" Long
This is an excellent product, but I gave it four stars because it was nearly impossible to install with ordinary tools. It was necessary to force the serrated portion into the center hanger and since I did not have access to power to run a compressor and force it into the hole using excess torque via an air wrench, I had to use a hammer to drive the serrated end into the hanger. I found an install video from etrailer that showed how the installation was to be done, but I could not accomplish it that way. Besides the amount of torque needed would probably have twisted the bolt off at the grease hole. As it was, I drove the part in with a 3# hammer after destroying ordinary white wood blocks of wood. I removed the grease zerk and used another piece of flat iron to protect the zerk's threads. I was able to bottom the head against the hanger by tightening the nut as much as I could by hand and then hitting the head with the hammer a few times, tighten again, etc., until it was completely in place. This method was used on both sides of the trailer. To torque these into position with an ordinary wrench would have exceeded 1000 lbft of torque which I am not sure that these bolts would take without damaging them more than the hammering did. To be fair, the information suggested that the hangers be replaced, but that was because many times the hangers are damaged if the other parts wore out. But it is fairly clear that the holes in the hangers are not pre-formed with matching serrations so I doubt that it would have changed the issue. In short, I don't believe that the serrated portion is necessary. And if it is, then a keying method would be more appropriate, such as a square hole.
Other than cotter pin is way too small and had to add a couple washers so castle nut reached keeper hole a great product at a good price.
