Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System
Added these Timbrens with two 1" spacers on each side on a 2011 GMC Sierra with a 2" lift. Fit great, easy to install. Was more work getting old bump stops off than installing the new Timbrens with spacers. I did need to get 2" longer bolts than what was included to complete the install, but that was to be expected.
Received yesterday (quick shipping!), installed today on 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 4WD Crew Cab short box. What a difference between the Timbren's and OEM bump stop from GMC. Installed for towing large travel trailer. Used floor jack under rear hitch to raise up truck to get enough room for socket to install bolts. Use 10mm socket to remove OEM bolt & bump stop, use 17MM socket to install new bolt and Timbren. Very east installation process.

Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System
I bought these to stabilize the rear suspension on my 2003 GMS Sierra 1500HD prior to buying a pickup bed camper. The Product arrived quick, is excellent quality, and was very easy to put on. While i can’t review how it handles with a camper yet, reviews from previous purchasers made me confident that this will work just fine and I don’t have to deal with airbags. What I can say is customer service is top notch, hence the excellent rating. When it looked like I might have had a potential delivery issue (i thought my package was delivered to someone else or worse potentially stolen…but it turned out USPS delivered to the actual post officer versus my address) , I reached out to the company and they were quick to respond to my concern, offered assistance, and was very professional and personable at the same time. This interaction makes me look forward to purchasing from etrailer in the future and would recommend them to others!
Easy to install and very effective.

Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle
Purchased the ride rite Firestone airbag kit for an 05 GMC. It fits perfect and seems very durable. Instructions were easy to follow and etrailer has very good videos on their website and on youtube of how to install. Fast shipping and will definitely do business with a trailer again! Thank you!!
Everything fit and install as expected. Soon to put it to the workload test. One tip I found very helpful, if you can jack up on the frame of the truck (use jack stands and general safety precautions) it will provide much more room and make the installation easier. I figured that out after I struggled with the first bag.

Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle
We tow a flagstaff super light with a 2018 Sierra. Tongue weight in the neighborhood of 1500 lbs loaded. . Decided to level the suspension on the truck and needed to replace a set of Timbrens with air bags. Ride quality is a world of difference. The bags provide such an improvement on ride quality. Install was fairly straight forward - most time consuming was routing the airlines. We use the bumper fill option for air with a small 35 dollar electric compressor run from the cigarette lighter socket. Use a Joes Racing model 32307 for measuring pressure. Inflated to 35PSI when towing. Would highly recommend these bags - ride quality improvement 2nd to none.
After emailing a fitment question to etrailer and having Erik B answer it in detail and correctly, I ordered this kit to install on my 2008 GMC Sierra 1500. It fit perfectly. From start to finish it took about 2 hours and I wasn't in a hurry. The kit came with everything I needed except for a few extra zip ties for the air line, but I had those anyway. The instructions that came with the kit are sufficient and easy to understand, but watching the video that Erik at etrailer linked to my question first made it much easier to understand how the installation should go. I ordered the air bag kit because even with the weight distribution hitch on my truck, it still sags the rear about 4 inches before the air bags were installed. I haven't got to use the trailer yet, but I can't imagine having to run more than 40psi in the bags for my 10,000lb trailer with 1100lb tongue weight.

Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System
very rugged, haven't put them in yet, just got home at 11 pm, will crawl under the truck tomorrow
Used them on every pickup I've had. The latest is my 24 GMC Sierra. With the camper hooked up and tongue jack down, pulled the old rubber bumpers off, lifted just enough to clear getting the timbrens under along with a 3/4 inch small piece of wood then let them down with the weight of the trailer to pop them on place. Then lifted enough to get the spacer wood out and that's the extent of the install. Literally took between 5-10 minutes. Timbrens are seriously one of my favorite upgrades of all time.

Firestone Sport-Rite Air Helper Springs - Tapered Sleeve - Rear Axle
YOU CANT GO WRONG WITH THIS PRODUCT! VERY IMPRESSED!
One year later the sport-rite kit has been a true game changer in towing. Installation was really straight forward took about 1.5 hours in the garage to everything installed. Prior to installing the kit I had a lot of "floating" when towing my jeep behind the truck. Post installation I run the bags at about 40-45lbs of air and I don't even feel the. trailer/jeep when towing. For anyone looking to firm up your tow rig I would highly recommend this kit. For the price you can't beat the value.

RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit
Always used air bags prior to this. As far as my needs go the Roadmaster works better. It does all it claims to do. I’ve loaded my truck with a 700 lb atv and 900 on the hitch and stayed level. Ride is smooth and the system has beenn100% reliable for the 25000 miles I’ve had it on my GMC Sierra 1500. Great product.

Timbren Suspension Enhancement System - Severe Service - Rear Axle
This review is on a timbren air spring ,I bought this on a Saturday night ,went out of town Monday morning and got in on Thursday afternoon ,wife said the box had arrived Tuesday and put them on this morning on our 2006 Chevy k-3500 ,my guy had the truck in our shop for an oil change and I asked him to put it on, came back 45 min later and he was done with the spring installation and the oil change ! I asked him how hard it was and he said it took him longer to figure out which parts in the kit he needed that the actual install ,said it was about as easy as it gets .Well ,now for the test drive we drove the truck empty ,pretty much as stock ,rode real well. Then we put a Gaylord box that weighed 4506# and drove the truck ,WoW ,What a difference ,truck rode great and handled well ,went over railroad tracks, really handled well and rode great ,I wish I'd have done this years ago ! I highly recommend this product and commend etrailer on their good service and what made me decide to purchase the timbren product was the you-tube video ,after I saw that ,I placed the order ,it looked so simple to install and it went on just like on you-tube

Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle
Purchased for my 2019 Silverado 3500HD. I've not had long-term use of it yet, but based on other reviews I anticipate everything will function well for many miles to come. One thing I wish was included in the package from the manufacturer was the Air Lift Union Tee #21838 which I ended up purchasing separatly. The included air line is fitted with an air valve at each end, requiring you to fill the springs individually. For my use, I wanted a single shared line so the springs remain equal, especially in the event of a leak. I recommend the Air Line brand fitting as I first tried a knockoff version since it was more quickly available, but the entire 5-pack leaked around the o-rings so I had even more downtime (do it right the first time...). I also have a B&W gooseneck wheel hitch and the instructions call for drilling into the frame and using the self-tapping screws to mount the top plate. I was able to use the U-bolts over my hitch bracket at the rear of the plate, but still had to drill into the frame for the front due to the hitch brackets being higher than the frame rail. It's an awkward angle without having lift access, but still very doable - just a tight fit drilling next to the fuel tank. Overall, a great solution to improving towing.
I have a 2011 GMC 2500 HD. Installation was fairly easy; must have patience. Instructions indicated could not use U bolts with fifth wheel hitch. In my case, I found with a little finesse I was able to install the U bolts just fine without having to drill holes in the frame. I have a Reese fifth wheel hitch. So far after pulling my trailer one time it works great.

SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle
2009 GMC Sierra CC 2WD Installed after my wife came home with a 600lb decorative stone from a one hundred year old high school being torn down. Not having a good way to unload it, I decided to use it for winter weight last year. OEM springs were not sagging but my longer mudflaps did contact pavement at times and wanted more support on the curves. SumoSprings brought it up to factory height and gave the support in the corners.
Installed the next day. Great service at a good price.

Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Ultimate Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle
Definitely a heavy duty and easy kit to install. Like others have recommended, save yourself the aggravation and take the rear rims/tires off. Also, I used 1/4" expandable braided sleeve on the air lines for added protection against the outside elements. Lastly, if you have an after market exhaust you will need to buy bigger stainless hose clamps for the heat shield.

Timbren Suspension Enhancement System - Severe Service - Rear Axle
i was pleasantly surprised to how easy installation was
I don't know what I thought this was, but, it definitely was not that. In my mind, this is just a fancy spring stop that replaces the one supplied by the manufacturer. Because of the thickness, my truck bottomed out more and quicker than with the factory stops. I had in my head (from reading from others) that this would help the suspension softness. It did not. I ended up putting airbags on the truck. It had weaker springs due to age (2005 model) and the stop would not help that. The airbags were a blessing. They eliminated the too-soft ride. Had I put the airbags on first, I doubt I would have ever put this product on. (Although we did find out that the factory stops were worn out and needed replacement.) I can not, and will not, degrade this product as it is well made and it was exactly as it was advertised. It just was not the product that I needed. Make sure what you need BEFORE you buy.

SuperSprings Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit - OEM Leaf Springs Above Axle
The Super Springs work great! I pull a 8,500# trailer with a hitch weight of 950# with a 2004 GMC Sierra 1/2 Ton. The truck pulls fine but even with an equalizer hitch still had some sag. The Super Springs were easy to install and leveled the rig. After a year everything still works great.
I bought these for my 2011 Silverado 1500 crew cab 4wd, truck had a 6” lift and 35” tires. I was frequently towing a 5k pound horse trailer ( bumper pull not gooseneck ) and was getting a lot of bounce in the truck. As a honest review, I installed them ( quick and easy I add ) and removed them a month or so later. They did everything they were suppose to, sway was better, felt more In control at high speeds, and less squat on the truck. My complaint was my truck rode like a 3/4 ton truck without the trailer and I didn’t have 3/4 ton power. So I removed them to get my ride quality back, eventually selling the truck and buying a 3/4 ton. Now in another 3/4 ton for a few week, I would say it wasn’t as bad as a true 3/4 ton, but it does firm up the ride a bit. I still give it 5 stars because it did exactly what it was suppose to, super cost effective, easy to install and remove, no fabrication etc. also I requested some precise measurements on individual pieces from etrailer customer service for fitment with my lift kit and they responded same day with all measurements I needed. Sum up if your debating, it’s easy to install, easy to remove, way cheaper than bags, adjustable, work great.

SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle
Just had PEP boys install (it was 22 degrees outside) both front and rear. This review will be duplicated for the rear as well. Excellent, been meaning to purchase and install on my 2007 GMC 2500HD Classic. My pickup is now my weekend drive for the toy stores (Lowes, Home Depot...) Immediate improvement on handling, turning and stopping. Have not connected a trailer to it yet. Previous experience with Summo on 2005 E450 Shuttle Bus and a 2018 Thor Axis 25.5 RV.
Awesome product.

Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle
great company to work with, they sent me a new air bag when mine had a leak and the shipping was fast. the install was a little difficult, had to drill holes in the frame. i have the silverado 1500 classic 07 so most aftermarket parts need some modifications anyways. i’m now able to haul comfortably without “trailer squat”
I did have trouble finding someone to install the air helper springs. Once installed they did very well. In my situation, the springs on my truck were wore out. I have ordered new springs and plan on putting the air helper springs on with the new springs for help when pulling my camper. I do recommend this item, but remember, they are called "helper" for a reason and will not cure a deep seated spring problem!
What our customers are saying:
"Wow! I placed my order late on a Friday afternoon and when I get to work this AM my I have confirmation that my order has already shipped. Thanks for the great service."
