I love that the ramp is helping out so much with loading your ebikes, Jesse! Any fun plans of traveling with your bikes soon?

The small piece should be 2” longer, but overhall the ramp works great for my wives electric bike. Now it’s easier for an eighty two old to load & unload our bikes. The one in the picture is my bike just for demonstration . No more lifting the bikes. Great product.

  • E-Bike Rack Recommendation for Travel Trailer to Carry Aventon 500 and Carbon Frame Bike
Hey Dave, so the best option for carrying your carbon frame bike and e-bike is the Swagman Escapee part # S39SR with the ramp # S59SR . It has the capacity for carrying an e-bike, is rated for travel trailer use, only touches the bikes by the tires which protects the carbon frame, and works with the Aventon 500 since it doesn't have fenders. The RV rider that was recommended was probably a good faith recommendation because it is for "RVs" but it's not designed for travel trailers which...

  • Diference Between the Swagman E-Spec and Escapee Bike Racks
Gordon, the difference between the Swagman E-Spec # S94FR and the Swagman Escapee # S39SR is that the E-Spec has a higher capacity, is about 10 lbs lighter, but will only work with a max wheelbase of 48" (compared to the Escapee which can handle up to 50") other than that, they are basically the same rack. Also, the Escapee # S39SR can have a ramp added on with # S59SR to make loading the bikes easier. Both of these racks will work with 5" wide tires, 2" hitches, and can be keyed alike.

  • Bike Rack With Ramps For Both Truck & 5th Wheel Trailer
Hi Jackie, You definitely made the right choice initially for a bike rack for your truck as well as a 5th wheel or camper by going with the Swagman Escapee RV Bike Rack # S39SR. This is a 2-bike rack as there isn't a 1-bike rack with those same capabilities, and the Escapee does have the option of adding ramps as well for easy loading. For that you'd just need the Loading Ramp for Swagman Skaha and Escapee Bike Racks # S59SR.

  • Does The RockyMounts HighNoon FC Bike Rack # RKY67RR Have A Loading Ramp
Hey John, The RockyMounts HighNoon FC Bike Rack # RKY67RR unfortunately doesn't have a compatible loading ramp. For a similar wheel mount rack that does have a compatible ramp I recommend the Swagman Skaha 2 Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # S67SR. The ramp for this rack is sold separately under part # S59SR. This rack has a 60lb per bike capacity and fits tires up to 5" wide. If you'd like some different features or to switch to a frame mount rack then just let me know and I can look...

  • Recommended RV Rated E-Bike Bike Rack w/ a Ramp
You're welcome Alex! I have one other option but you're going to need to lose 3 lbs a piece on your e-bikes. The Swagman Escapee RV Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes item # S39SR is rated for RV use and has an available ramp that can be purchased separately item # S59SR. The Swagman Escapee item # S39SR has a 60 lbs per bike capacity and can be folded up for storage purposes when not in use. I have linked a review video below so you can see the functions of this bike rack demonstrated.

  • Availability of Ramp to Load Heavy E-Bike on Swagman XTC2
Hi Mike; whether this is the XTC2 TILT # S64671 or the XC2 # S64650 you got from us a while back there are no ramps or other devices to assist with loading a heavy e-bike. Also, if it is that heavy I'm willing to bet it exceeds the 35 lb per bike capacity of the rack so it is probably time for an upgrade. Sticking with Swagman we have the Skaha 2 Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches # S67SR. This has a capacity of 60 lbs per bike and is compatible with the Loading Ramp...

  • Bike Rack Recommendation for 42' Travel Trailer with Welded-On Hitch Receiver
The Kuat Pivot 2 Swing Away Hitch Extender for Bike Racks # PVP20B is one of my all-time favorite bike rack accessories, but it unfortunately isn't rated for use on a travel trailer so we need to find you a different solution. I recommend checking out the Swagman Escapee RV Bike Rack # S39SR which is compatible with your bikes as long as they don't have a front fender. I really like this rack because it meets a lot of basic necessities while also being able to handle up to 60 lb bikes...

  • Thule EasyFold XT Alternative Recommendation to Carry E-Bikes At Back of Travel Trailer
Thule has gone back and forth about the Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack # TH903202 being suitable for use at the back of a travel trailer, but ultimately they've chosen not to give it the okay because they've had reports of the rack becoming damaged due to the exaggerated movement at the back of a trailer. You can technically still use the EasyFold XT on your trailer, but if it becomes damaged then Thule won't consider it a warranty claim. Because of this, I recommend using a rack that's more...

  • Bike Rack Recommendation for e-Bikes on a 2020 Rockwood Mini Lite 2109S
Hey Ken, thanks for reaching out! I recommend using the Swagman Escapee RV Bike Rack # S39SR along with the Loading Ramp # S59SR to make loading your heavy bikes easier. These have ratcheting arms that secure around the tires so they will work great unless either of your bikes has a front fender. In that case, you'll want to use the Lets Go Aero V-Lectric VFR Bike Rack # LGA25VR instead. The Swagman is a little simpler to use which is why I initially recommend going that route.

  • Will The Loading Ramp # S59SR Fit With Escapee Bike Rack Without Notches For Ramp?
I reached out to Swagman who verified you are still able to use the Loading Ramp # S59SR with your Escapee Bike Rack # S39SR. They mentioned you will have a bit of a hump to get over when going from the rear wheel carrier to the front wheel carrier.

  • Correct Loading Ramp for Swagman E-Spec Bike Rack
The Loading Ramp for Swagman Skaha and Escapee Bike Racks # S59SR is only going to work with the Swagman Skaha and Escapee bike racks and will not work with your E-Spec bike rack. Instead, you're going to want to check out the Swagman Ramp and Bridge for Swagman Current, E-Spec, and G10 Bike Racks # S32YR which is going to work with your E-Spec.

  • Does 2" Adapter on Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack Reduce the Durability and Lifespan
In a sense, but not necessarily. The Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # TH903202 is backed by a limited lifetime warranty so as long as it's used within the parameters of the weight capacities and what it's been tested and approved to work on you shouldn't be seeing any issues. The 2" adapter plays a part in the durability of the rack on an RV but not for normal use. When it comes to the RV rating that's kind of a new animal that bike rack manufacturers are trying to tackle....

  • Can Loading Ramp Be Used With Swagman Escapee Bike Rack
The Swagman Escapee Bike Rack # S39SR is a great solution for e-bikes that don't utilize a front fender. It doesn't come with a ramp but one can be added on: - Loading Ramp for Swagman Skaha and Escapee Bike Racks # S59SR I really like this ramp because it has a bridge in the middle so you aren't "jumping the gap" when loading your heavier bike. The ramp can also be adjusted from 36-7/16" to 56-9/16" so it will fit a wide variety of applications.

  • How Much Does The Swagman Skaha Pro Bike Rack S75SR Weigh?
Hi Lisa! The Swagman Skaha Pro Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # S75SR weighs right at 65 pounds. It's definitely on the beefy side, but it can also hold two 60 pound e-bikes with up to 5" wide fat-tires. And it can be tilted with the bikes still on the rack, which is a very nice feature. Does your vehicle already have a hitch installed? And what kind of bikes are you going to be carrying? Oh and side note: you can add the # S59SR Loading Ramp to...
