When you’re setting up a tow system, a solid connection is everything. This base plate kit bolts directly to the chassis with no welding required, giving you a secure foundation for your tow bar. Its sturdy design spreads towing forces evenly to help prevent stress on the suspension. The durable steel build is powder coated to resist rust and corrosion, so it’s ready for the long haul.
No one wants bulky brackets hanging off the front when not towing. This setup uses hidden reinforcements that keep only the attachment tabs visible. It gives your vehicle a tidy look while still keeping a ready-to-use connection whenever you’re hitching up to your RV.
This base plate pairs directly with Blue Ox tow bars for a tight, reliable connection every time. It’s also adaptable for use with Roadmaster tow bars using adapter RM-031 or RM-031-5, and with Demco tow bars using adapter DM9523041 (adapters sold separately). That flexibility means you can keep your existing gear and still build out a dependable flat-towing system.
You don’t have to be a pro to get this job done. The kit includes all the mounting hardware needed for a bolt-on install, so there’s no welding involved. Once mounted, it’s solid and ready to tow—bracket distance is 24" and bracket height is 17", helping you plan your tow bar setup for a level connection.
