Today we're going to take a look at the Taylor Made StepSafe dock step with the two steps. Now, this stock step makes it very easy to board your boat, or it can be stored on your boat to help you reach any storage compartments. It is molded in a UV-resistant polyethylene. You can see on the back it has an opening here that you can grip it with. On the very bottom, there's a one and a half inch wide flange that goes around the whole bottom of the step that gives you the option of mounting the step to your dock or any flat surface. Actually has two screw holes over there and two over here.
It does include the mounting hardware, if you want to mount it permanently to some dock or flat surface. Does on the top have a nice StepSafe adhesive pad on the top of each step, provides you grip for wet or dry surfaces, keeping you from slipping. And it is a nice white color.This part as made in the USA. Does easily clean with soap and water. The weight on this is about 18 pounds, and it will hold up to about 300 pounds.
Do want to give you a few measurements on this. The length of it, we put the tape measure on it from one end to the other, right at 26 and three quarter inches long. The width on it, 23 and three quarter inches wide. And the overall height, right about 17 inches tall.Now, this is the two step model. We do also offer it in a single step model.
It's sold separate on our website. It's part number 36947100. And they have a triple step model, which is part number 36947300.But that should do it for the review on the Taylor Made StepSafe dock step with the two steps.

The steps are very nice! But ,the packaging was terrible !!! Who ever stuck the steps in a box like that, should have training. What fool, would used a bang up box to begin with taped up the sides to keep it together.
These dock steps are wonderful. We use them for our Carver Yacht and our guests appreciate that they can step right onto the landing with ease. It's sturdy and we like the storage inside for our cleaning supplies and hose. It can fit tons of stuff. Nice looking and worth the cost.
Non slip loose for several inches and curling up. Otherwise good. Accessory hand rail sturdy.
