Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this TowSmart bolt-on channel tongue trailer coupler with the trigger latch for a two inch hitch ball. Now this channel tongue coupler is designed to let you hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle, provides the connection point right here for your two inch hitch ball. The trigger latch on this allows for a nice safe and easy coupling and uncoupling. You just pull the trigger, pull up on it to open the ball socket, drop it onto the ball, push it closed. Now they do include a 5/16 inch diameter hole.

If you wanna lock it, you can put a coupler lock through. Here we do sell the coupler lock separately. Now these are a durable material, provide corrosion resistance. Now to install this, it is either a weld-on or a bolt-on installation using 3/8 inch diameter bolts. Now the hardware to bolts are not included.

Now this will fit channel width of up to three inches, or it'll even fit two and a half inch channel width using these included spacers. You would put the spacers in here, line them up with the holes, and then it'll fit the two and a half inch width. One note I do wanna mention though is if you do use the spacers, then the coupler could only be bolted on, not welded on. The weight capacity on this coupler is 3,500 pounds, maximum trailer weight capacity.
