Today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement hitch ball platform for the Pro Series Adjustable 2-Ball Mount. It's going to fit your Pro Series Adjustable Ball Mount, part number 63071. This can also be added to a weight distribution shank to create a sturdy adjustable ball mount. This unit's going to feature two differently sized hitch balls.
It's going to let you tow trailers with different coupler sizes. It's also going to feature that stowable design. What that means is you can actually reverse this on the shank, that way this area is stored actually underneath the vehicle or behind or underneath the hitch. What that does is it gets the balls and the platform out of the way so when you're not towing you don't have to worry about running into anything or maneuvering on the back of your vehicle and running into that with your legs. It's going to be a 3/4 inch diameter and it's attached with a lanyard, so you don't have to worry about misplacing that or losing it. When it comes to the weight capacities of the different balls, for the 2 inch it's going to have a gross towing weight of 10,000 pounds and the 2-5/16 inch ball is going to be rated at 14,000 pounds.
