Can this front hitch also be used a recovery point for my 3500 4x4 Sprinter?

I reached out to EcoHitch and found that the # 306-X7352 can be used as a recovery point. It would be a good idea to have something like the MaxxTow Tow Strap Loop # MT70029 for this purpose.
