Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this CURT channel-style adjustable ball mount with hook and step. Now this ball mount's going to slide into your two inch trailer hitch receiver and this is going to give you two different balls, hitch ball sizes, so you can tow trailers with different coupler sizes. And this has an overall capacity of 14,000 pounds and then an overall tongue weight capacity of 1,400 pounds. And to switch the balls, it's gonna be very easy. Let me go ahead and give you a closeup here.

So I'm just gonna go ahead and remove the clips here and then remove the pins. Let me bring this around the other side just so you can see. So as you can see, you're not going to be at the back of your vehicle struggling to get that adjustment that you're looking for. So 2 5/16 inch ball, and then you can just easily swap it out to the two inch ball. And then also, you can see that this is gonna be very easy to get that height adjustment that you're looking for as well.

I wanted to also show you, let me come around the table here to give you a closer view. We also have this anti-rattle design we have. It's like this rubber cushion here that's going to help prevent this from rattling inside of the channel. And then this is also going to give you this tow hook. And I'm just gonna go ahead and slide this back in.

And I really appreciate the fact that those pins are gonna slide in very easily. And I'm gonna replace the clips on this side here. So the tow hook is, obviously, going to be perfect for vehicle recovery and straight line pole applications. And in case you are wondering, the tow hook is going to have a straight pull capacity of up to 10,000 pounds. And then we also have our non-skid step that you can see right here.

And that's also going to give you very easy access to your truck bed. So let me go ahead and switch it over to that step. So you can see how easy this is going to be to not only get that adjustment that you're looking for, but also whether it's, whether you wanna swap out the ball sizes, use the tow hook, or just even use that step as well, all of this is going to be a very easy operation to get exactly what you're looking for. So the adjustable height is, obviously, going to let you tow trailers of different heights all with the same vehicle. That's what this is gonna let you do. And this can be flipped to be used in either a rise or drop position. Obviously, I have it at the drop position right now, but you can just flip that over for the rise. And then as you saw the ball platform here, it can be slid up and down along the shank and secured with pins and clips at that adjustment that you're looking for. So this is going to give you a maximum rise of about 5 1/4 inches, and then a maximum drop, when it's in this orientation of about six inches. The distance between the vertical adjustment holes is right at an inch. And this is a heavy-duty steel construction. The black powder coat on the ball mount and the zinc coating on the balls are gonna help resist corrosion. I'm impressed with the build quality. And again, I appreciate how easy it is to adjust your, it's gonna be, you're not gonna be spending a bunch of time getting that adjustment that you're looking for. And then you do get a hitch pin and clip as well with this. So secure this to your trailer hitch receiver. I would recommend taking a look at a hitch lock option, hitch pin lock option, just to further secure this investment that you're making. You might be wondering about some measurements. Just wondering if you have the room for this at the back of your vehicle. So I went ahead and took some for you. From the center of the accessory holes here to the center of our first hitch pin hole, we're sitting pretty close to 7 1/8 inches. And then moving to the second hitch pin hole on center, about 8 1/8 inches. So there's a distance of one inch between our hitch pin holes on center. And then from the center of our ball to the center of our first hitch pin hole is gonna be 10, about 10 inches. Moving to that second hitch pin hole on center, about 11 inches. And then from the center of our second hitch pin hole to the end of our shank, about 3 1/4 inches. And then the channel itself, just the channel, is about 9 3/4 inches tall.
