When you tow more than one trailer, matching the right height each time can be a pain. This adjustable mount gives you up to a 10" drop and 11" rise so your trailer sits level no matter what you’re hauling. The ball platform moves in 1" increments, using the included adjustment pin, making it easy to dial in the perfect height for a smooth, steady tow every time.

Going from one trailer to another shouldn’t take all afternoon. The two-sided platform includes both a 2" and a 2-5/16" zinc-plated steel ball so you can switch between coupler sizes without tools. The internal pin locks the balls in place so they stay put when towing but can be swapped easily when needed.
Rain, salt, and grime can chew up steel mounts over time. The aluminum alloy shank on this setup is strong, lightweight, and corrosion-resistant, so it stays looking good and working right season after season. It’s designed for 2" x 2" receivers and is also compatible with 2-1/2" receivers when using an adapter sleeve (sold separately).
At just 8-1/4" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole and weighing about 20 lbs, this mount balances strength with manageable size. It fits snugly in your receiver without sticking out too far, giving plenty of clearance for tailgates or accessories while keeping your towing setup clean and solid.

I use this drop down to pull my 22' wake board boat. It looks great on my truck and the quality is solid. It works exactly as described. My only complaint is that it has a little more play when breaking and accelerating from a dead stop than I like. I believe they do make a anti-vibration version of it.
This is a perfect hitch for those who use multiple towing vehicles and multiple trailers. It adapts to everything I have and allows me to tow my trailers flat and level.
The hitch is awesome. It’s very well designed. The only problem I had was the box was damaged in shipment. The hardware was missing when I received the package.

Good quality, heavy, just wish the the adjustable sliding ball hitch had tighter tolerances because when you drive over bumps or speed bumps you hear it rattle. But other than that it's very good quality.
Product itself seems well made. Customer service pushing shipping off over a week is not ok. O we have two warehouses and only go to the other one sometimes. Have spent over 5k in two yrs, I'll be taking my money somewhere else.

After I received the hitch and installed it I found I definitely didn’t need 10" of drop, so it kind of looks dumb with the hitch riding half way up the shaft.
This is a beautifully made product...machine work is great and it looks very nice on my vehicle. I bought a Yukon and found it sits about 4' higher than the Silverado I traded in.....much too high for my low street rod trailer.
The Rapid Hitch is a perfect solution for my various trailers.....no more hunting for the right draw bar in my shop....just move the ball to where you need it to be.
I have a Dodge 2500 with a 6 inch lift and this has been the best hitch I have bought so far. I have a large camper and a flatbed trailer that is loaded max most of the time and have not had any issues with the hitch. it is super quick to change ball sizes with no tools and is great for different height trailers. I purchased this hitch before and it was stolen so after doing some shopping and research, this is the one I came back to. if you have a lifted truck and do everyday pulling, this hitch is great.
My husband wanted to get some $500 name brand hefty thing. He didn't buy that monstrosity in time, so I looked around and ordered this. A year later, he LOVES it, and it's been used to pull multiple trailers on his VERY high truck. It helps immensely with the lift difference, and the interchangeable ball means all trailers fit.
I love this thing and it has performed well on several long trips: 3 times to TX and once to IL from NJ plus local stuff. It's somewhat lighter than the other ball mounts I've had and certainly looks nicer. It provides a ton of adjustability and my '17 Suburban needed 9 inches of drop for the utility trailer (Stealth Phantom II) I use to haul motorcycles here and there. One thing I'd rather have is two separate balls or just the 2" alone since the other ball does touch down on extreme driveways I've encountered.
A VERY nice piece that will set your mind at ease. Easy to adjust height.
The ONLY thing I wish is there was an option to have different sized ball combinations. I mainly use 2" and NEVER use a 2 5/16"(or whatever the larger size is) and would prefer to have a 1 7/8" on the other side.
Well built and made! So glad I dropped this hitch in the truck and can easily swap it out to the RV and make such a simple adjustment. Hooray, no more hitch switching problems! By the way the hitch was great, but Allison K in the customer support team was phenomenal, such great service!

Great looking hitch that works great for our needs towing about 7,000lbs on a regular basis. Hitch is durable and easy to use. Adjust quickly between vehicles and different trailer heights. I would highly recommend buying the hitch locks as well. Standard ones you find don’t fit the wider slide to properly secure it.

Great product and still working flawlessly.
Hello The hitch works great as viewed in the enclosed pictures. If inverted it hits the bumper, of my Dodge 2500. The section that goes into the receiver is about 1/2" too short and hits the bumper. I have not tried it on my other vehicle to see if this is a problem. Kind Regards Leon D

Leon, I have the same problem and am looking for a resolution. Ive called Andersen my CA sales rep and left a message.Id even be interested in paying for a custom shank length to be built for me needs. Well see, fingers crossed.
