Troubleshooting Hitch Ball Pin Removal on Rapid Hitch Adjustable Aluminum Ball Mount
Updated 07/25/2022 | Published 07/21/2022 >
Question:
How do you extract the pin ? I want to change to the standard zinc ball mount. After 2 years of towing it is lodged tightly and shows no willingness to come out. Thanks

The pin on your # AM3413 drops in during the installation so the only thing that would be preventing its removal is dirt or corrosion. It looks like you're already trying to pull it out using the threaded hole in the end so my only suggestion would be to try something like WD-40. Spray it into/around the pin hole and let it sit overnight so it can penetrate down in there. After you have given it some time try removing it again.
