This Solera RV Slide-Out Awning keeps the top of your slide clean and dry every time you move it in or out. It automatically extends and retracts with the slide-out, acting as a shield against leaves, dirt, and pooling rainwater that can lead to mold or seal damage. The topper mounts directly to the slide box, providing a tight, consistent layer of protection without any extra steps.

The premium 13.5-oz vinyl fabric is a big step up from standard 10-oz awning material. It’s designed for long-term outdoor use and won’t crack in cold weather down to -25°F. The heat-welded seams keep rain from seeping through, which helps prevent leaks and mildew. This durable construction ensures the topper stands up to years of sun, rain, and freezing conditions.

Made for slide-outs measuring 92? to 97? wide, this topper gives full coverage with a 48? extension. The awning rail is 97? long, and there’s built-in flexibility if you’re working with limited space—just make sure you have 7? of clearance on each side, or go down one size when necessary. Two slide-outs positioned next to each other need 14? total clearance between them for proper fit.
All the main components come in one package—including brackets, hardware, and the matching white awning rail. The roller tube arrives with the fabric already attached, so you won’t have to feed or align material during setup. Using the self-tapping screws, simply mount the access plate and brackets, then connect the pre-assembled roller. Mount the rail up to 5? above the trim for the right angle to drain water properly and keep the fabric tight after each use.
The white awning fabric and hardware create a clean, uniform look while reflecting sunlight to help keep the interior cooler. Once installed, it shields the slide-out roof from debris and heat, making your setup feel fresher and more comfortable—without any extra maintenance after it’s in place.

It’s important that the slide-topper sits at as steep an angle as possible so that any rainwater will drain immediately. Any water that sits in the awning can stretch out the fabric permanently and warp it out of shape.

Very well has held up good in strong winds in the valley in Texas. The wind there blows constantly with gusts up to 40 mph very common. The awning hasn’t stained or frayed on the ends.

I have been using my slide awnings for a year now without any issues. I dont have to worry about sticks and pine cones getting on top of my slide outs. It keeps me from having to climb on top of the RV. I highly recommend these to everyone I see.
