Hey, everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we have the replacement Rubber Pads for your Lockrack Water Sport Carrier Bases. We have some different sizes here, so we'll talk about what they consist of, as well as what water sport carriers each one matches. So for sizes, we have small, medium, and large. And technically, they are measured in centimeters, so there's 15 centimeters, 20 and 25. Then we have the appropriate or matching inch measurements here on our site.
So for your different carriers, most of the Universal X Carriers with the different arm configurations are going to be using the larger 25 centimeter base. So this is gonna be the longer one. It measures a bit over nine inches, so almost 10 inches for the base. These are not interchangeable, because they have custom fit cutouts underneath the rubber. So what this is designed to do is it's supposed to cover the hardware of your Lockrack base.
And when you install it, you can see that it fits perfectly into the length of that base. Installing it though requires pinching it to fit into the grooves because you may have something covering your base, so you can't just slide it through. For the other sizes, you'll see them on the other carriers, like for the Single Stand-Up Paddle Board, or the Surfboard, or even the Ladder Rack Adapter. For example, I have the surfboard here, which has the 20 centimeter, as well as the 15 centimeter used together. So these rubber pads are going to be an important part of your water sport carrier, because not only do they add a little bit of a security feature with covering the hardware, but they also provide that support base for your stand-up paddle boards, your surfboards, your kayaks, your canoes.
So with that in mind, if you do need to replace them, because yes, over time wear and tear does happen, especially if you have things like salt water and they're out in the elements, or if you lose them while you're installing or uninstalling the carrier, this video is gonna help explain which exact pad is gonna be the right fit for you. So these are available as a quantity of one here on our website. We do have different pages for the individual parts, and you can find them all here at etrailer. These we're the Lockrack replacement Rubber Base for your Lockrack Water Sport Carriers.
