Troubleshooting Dometic 310 Toilet Where Flush Ball Doesnt Seal on One Side
Published 06/08/2026 >
Question:
The flush ball on my Dometic 310 toilet got knocked lose on the left side. I was able to pop it back in place but now it wont hold water. I replaced the seal with no luck. Noticed that on the right side of the ball there appears to be a bushing between the ball and the toilet but not on the left. Im worried that maybe this bushing came off and fell into the tank. Is there supposed to be a bushing on both sides?

Hey Kerry, I looked into this issue and what I found is that most of the time the problem is that the ball came out of the detent on the left side. I would imagine what you need to do is just pop the ball back in to get the seal back. Let me know if that helps!
