Hey, everyone. I'm Ellen here at Etrailer.com, and today we're taking a look at the protective stub caps. These are going to be for your Deka overmolded battery cable harness assembly, something that should look like this. So as you can see on this cable, we'll have our caps to cover the sockets, but there's nothing to cover the studs themselves, so that's where these protective caps come in.So it's just going to go over each of those three eighths inch stud to keep that safe from the elements, protect it from any kind of corrosion buildup. And they're going to work the same way. The red cable is going to be for your positive side.

The black would be for your negative side cable, so you would have a black cable that this would match up with. But as you can see, they both fit on there nice and snug. To actually get it removed, you kind of have to thread it off, so should do a good job of keeping those protected.You do get 10 caps. And these colors are sold separately, I just wanted to show you that both are available. So red is separate than the black ones.

But for each part number, you do get 10 of these caps. So you'll have 10 of the red ones or 10 of the black ones, depending on the part number that you're looking at.That's pretty much all there is to these. They are a plastic design, can have a little bit of give to them. As far as the length, can look at about seven eights of an inch for the height. Diameter here is just over an inch, maybe an inch and a 16th at the base.
