Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the alpha systems, trim grade QTDG tape. Now this may look like butyl tape, but it is a little bit different. This is a malleable tape that creates a watertight seal around your windows, doors and trim pieces on your RV. It adheres to just about any surface, including metal, fiberglass, wood, plastic, painted surfaces and glass. It is a non-drying compound that is formulated to trim very easily from molded surfaces without using a blade.
So, it's going to be great for around your fender skirts or sidewalls, where using a sharp blade for trimming could potentially damage the surrounding area. This is to going to be great for those trim surfaces. This material is stable once compressed between your two pieces. So, it's going to hold up well, you're not going to have to worry about it expanding or contracting during a temperature variations. We do have several different size options for this Q T D G tape here at etrailer. This one is right at about an inch and a half in width, right at an eighth of an inch in thickness.
You're going to get 30 feet with this roll. So should be quite a bit for whatever project you're working on. But as I said, we do have other options here at etrailer.com as well. So, if you needed more or if you needed a different width or thickness, we do have other options as well. This is very easy to get installed it applies to any, almost any clean and dry surface, as I mentioned. You simply just press the tape onto the surface of your wood or glass or whatever the object is that you're wanting to install, remove the paper backing and then adhere that to the second surface.
Probably the side of your RV or wherever it is that you're installing it and then you can simply trim off the excess tape. It is even possible to trim it off with your fingernail. Depending on how you're wanting to trim, it should be very easy to remove the excess without damaging the surrounding area. You can see this is a dark gray color, so it should blend in nicely with your dark applications. This is made here in the USA. So, you can trust its made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products made here in the U.S.
And it does come with a one-year limited warranty. If you we're to have any problems with it, within that first year, you can give us a call. We'd be happy to help you out with that. We're always wanting to make sure that our customers are satisfied with their experience with us. I really don't think you're going to have to worry about any of that with this though. I think this is a simple product. That's going to get the job done for you and make sure that it's going to trim away without causing any damage to the surrounding area. I think that this is a great option for you. If you're wanting to adhere trim or something like that to your RV. So, that's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.
